"Very basic. Probably as expected."

Room needed a bit of TLC - paint and general seeing to. Stains on the sheets. Would stay here again but only if under $50 for the night.

Room was small but OK. Was comfortable and clean enough for a 1 night stay but wouldn't stay longer than that. Would only recommend if travelling by public transport. No parking available.

We had a great stay felt very secure, close to everything. The only thing they do not do is make up the Bunk bed. It was a good experience for My Granddaughter and I , would Definately Recomend to anyone. Will certainly be seeing you again.

If you are backpacking, you're fine otherwise avoid this place like the plague. While the location is central, the size of the room, noise levels and general state and decor of the place is terrible.

Tiny room looking into the bottom of a light well. And the bunk bed was not even made up. will not stay there again.

Very clean, modern, and a very comfy bed. Room is small and you dont get a kettle of fridge. But its cheap.

I had booked our accomodation via the Accor site for the Formule One motel/hotel. I had not stayed at the Formule One before but felt comforable that the Accor brand would prevail. Disappointing. Dated, pull around curtain around the vanity (which was very small space) very 'budget'. New carpet and paint would go a long way to improve the 'feel' of the accomodation. Wouldn't stay there again with family. Pity as the location was convenient.

Ideal situation for central city stay, but hotel condition very poor, requires new carpets in bedroom we stayed in, dirty and stained, shower head broken. Staff very helpful but little they could do, Enjoyed our night stay in Melbourne as we always do, but wished the condition of the room had been upto Mercure normal standards, we usually stay at Mercure Welcome, but as it was Grang Prix motor week, we had to stay at this hotel as others all full.

good position very close to Flinders st station and casino which suited us fine. Would have liked to have had tea and coffee facilities though. Bed and pillows very comfortable and reception lady very friendly. I would stay there again if i go back to meklbourne in the future.

The hotel is cheap but worth of money. Situation is good. Rooms are ridiculous small, having separete shower cabin of wc. Shower cabin is just beside the bed. No wardropes.Worst was that I had to check out early in a morning, and there was not a receptionist on his desk even as he should had been. Only sign: "I had to left and I will be back soon".So it was a litlle bit strange to leave out to street and leave the key card on a desk. You don't even know if you are going to get any taxi on street.... Alone on a street in a foreign city at night time....

I reserved this hotel for 14-17 Jan 2012. Whereas, due to web failer I click twice for this stay and recieve 2 mails for thi reservation. I did not find this until I checked in. Althiugh this was my mistake, can I get my money paid back? You know the feeling of my for paid twice!

Basic room but excellent as far as cleanliness and comfort. We were there for one night and only needed the room to sleep in, so it was perfect. The bathroom facilities are tiny but functional. Didn't get to try the breakfast but it looked like great value.

Overall good value for the money- a no frills hotel that suits my needs. That is why I continue to stay. However the on line booking service seems to be quite eratic and on a number of occasions I have had to ring the booking counter direct to book in.
