"Good value for money"

Good value for money and reliable hotel. We booked a car with a driver on Feb 10 to tour the city before departing for Kolkuta. The driver was not that honest. Despite telling him that we were not interested in shopping India stuffs, he insisted on taking us to three different shops. It was a waste of our time. I had a bad experience with another driver in another Ibis Hotel in Delhi two years ago. Ibis was kind enough to return my money upon receipt of our complaint. Maybe, we need to be careful with the drivers in Inida despite the fact that the car and driver were arranged by the hotel. Other than the driver, I think Ibis is a great hotel. I will go back to Ibis but not hiring the car and driver.

"Room cleanliness"

Rooms are good to sleep and as IBIS standard bathroom design, visitor would have a clear expectation on the size of the bathroom. Location being next to domestic airport, makes life easy to checkin/checkout. Overall stay was OK, except Bathroom towels. they were actually torn and with some hair in one corner.

"Good clean place to stay"

Emerging from the Mumbai Airport we were met by our prearranged driver from the hotel. After a short journey we were efficiently checked into our room. At the end of a day of more than 20 hours flying the hot shower and clean sheets were very welcome. The room was quiet and clean. When we went for breakfast the staff could not have been more obliging. A little personal attention from the personal assistant to the manager was most refreshing. My wife and find this hotel a welcome retreat at the end of the journey to India and a chance to catch our breath before heading off into the traffic of Mumbai and onwards

We coming to IBIS since 2010-2011 and its been overwhelming stay and every time we come we just like it...Staff is really good and services been amazing..for last few years we been going to Leelas and to Taj but since we started coming here we found it real value for money and also found us very good...

"Great Hotel but fair location"

The Ibis Mumbai is a great hotel with wonderful staff. The rooms are quiet even though it is next to a highway. There are 2 complimentary computers off the lobby. The buffet breakfast is excellent at a reasonable price (about $6.50). The only bad point is the location where there are no interesting sights nearby. It is near the domestic airport.

I find the IBIS style of hotel totally adequate with excellent bed and very good business facility ie with internet connection and excellent work station. At this hotel the food selection was excellent and this couple with the airport conncetion it met my needs 100%.

"Good Service, average cleanliness."

The hotel was satisfactory except for the slight mouldy smell in the corridors. I wish they offered complimentary airport transfer from International airport. Their charges of Rs. 1,000 from International Airport to the hotel appeared excessive so we did not use their airport transfer while arriving. However, the transfer to domestic airport while departing was complimentary and the driver was very friendly.

"Good budget hotel"

well located for the suburbs and well priced for its location and amenities. the only item missing is the gym/ pool. the other issues with the hotel are;1 the bathrooms - these are more like porta cabins and give you a very tacky feel about the hotel in general2 you need to pay for everything in advance. includes breakfast, dinner etc. if youve not paid in advance, you'll have to pay in cash and they wont let you settle at check-out. can be embarassing if you have invited guests for breakfast. but otherwise, a fabulous location.

"Stay at IBIS Mumbai"

This was my 1st experience at a self service hotel. Being self -service the service level is very low, and thus the value for money was also very low.The cleanliness / Location etc are a high point and the staff (Not many were there in the 1st place) was courteous and smiling.Would recommend for short stays specially for its proximity to AIRPORTS.

"Functional hotel"

the IBIS hotel - great location if you have a slew of early morning domestic flights. The rooms are very clean, but basic and the rates are fairly competitive. the bathroom each room is more like a porta-cabin giving it a bit of a tacky look - but its very functionalwhere the hotel lacks is a gym/ exercise area. this would be a great add on.

"Nice, convenient hotel, breakfast poor quality"

We really like this Ibis for it's convenence. You get a standard Ibis room which in India means a lot given the usual filth that greets one at a reasonably priced Indian establishment. The regular a la carte food is great in the restaurant (try the chicken biryani--very good--don't lose that chef). I tried the brekafast and it was bad--lose the breakfast chef. Dry leek frittata, no regular coffee, just milky crap out of a coffee day machine, nothing hearty to eat, other than eggs and chicken sausages and old bacon, and South Indian slop. Very, very unimaginative but you wouldn't guess it from the advertising. Needs work. But you can't beat the location and value of everything else.

"No Locks for the Bathroom"

Before staying at the hotel, I tried calling the hotel several times on the phone number on the website but the call gets disconnected or is not answered after the automated system recording is over. The rooms were very good but a bit small. The bathroom is esp very small. There are NO LOCKS FOR THE BATHROOM which makes it inconvenient if you are staying with friends. The calls to the reception were answered on my 10th attempt but service was prompt esp during the night. Very good service quality during the night. The breakfast is good as well and the 12 pm checkout time is very good for late risers like me.
