"Excellent for early morning flights."

Have stayed at Etap several times when checking in for early morning flight. Location is excellent as in Departures within minutes of leaving hotel. Cost is very good-cheaper than getting a taxi to airport for us. Room is basic with en suite facilities and clean-don't need 4* luxery when only sleeping there.View management response »

"Pay more for a good sleep"

Stayed here for one night after returning from the canary`s. Reception good and hotel clean. The reason for the bad rating is because the rooms are very, very small and the beds are rock hard. We had hardly any sleep, leaving us both with aching backs and feeling very tierd the next morning. I would pay more next time just to get a good nights kip.View management response »

Very basic beds are terrible but for £33 what can you expect .if you can live with the beds then that's ok . There are no comforts whatsoever ,no shampoo very cramped but great location for bhx if you can afford it spend the extraView management response »

Booked a double room for my husband and me (we have stayed a few times before) and a triple room for my daughter and two grandchildren. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. My daughter said she found it a bit noisy during the night with people in and out (she was on a different floor to us) but on the whole a great value for money hotel.Ideal for our early morning flight as it is only a couple of minutes walk to the terminal. "Perfect for the early start"

Have used this hotel every time I or we have an early flight out of Birmingham. Its excellent value if you can book early enough. The rooms are quiet and clean. Shower is simple but fine. Beds are up to the standard of most hotels. Buffet breakfast is available from some carazy hour (like 4 or 4.30am)Its a couple of minutes stroll from the terminal. You pay when you check in or wwhen you book, so no check out queues. Will continue to use it for as long as they continue to offer bargain rates. Where else can you find an airport hotel for as little as £29 for up to 3 people!!!View management response »

"If passing through, exactly what you need"

This is a clean basic hotel right next to the airport. If you park in the short stay multi story car park, this hotel is probably closer to the airport than your car. It is clean and usually very cheap, although sometimes it gets busy with events at the NEC. (Always compare novotel/ibis/etap prices as they are right next to each other and sometimes the more expensive brand can be cheaper.) Rooms are soulless indenti-kit boxes but they have everything I need for one nightView management response »

We couldnt fault the room or good firm bed for a good nights sleep. We ate in the Ibis restaurant next door which was good food and good service. The convenience to the departures area at the airport was minutes away. Excellent value for money.View management response »

"Excellent value for money"

Stayed here for one night before an early flight the following morning. The location and cleanliness of the room were excellent and it had everything we needed apart from a courtesy tray. All the facilities of the airport are on the doorstep however so this was not a big problem. The temperature of the room however was extremely hot even though it was a very cold February night so neither of us had a good night's sleep. Excellent value for money however. "Can't be beaten"

I booked in advance and got two rooms for myself and my parents for £25 each. For that price we got a very clean comfortable room, a good nights sleep and were able to get our 7am flight fully refreshed.The reception staff were very helpful and were available all night. They even helped out with a hacksaw when my Dad realised that the key to his suitcase lock was back at his home.I have stayed there four times now and it has always been consistently good.View management response »
