Delivers what it says. Located on the inner ring road, so convenient, 10 minute walk to city centre.

"Excellent Stay"
30th April 2012, debjon42, Barrow In Furness
It was an excellent stay and i would recommend it to other people, the only thing that i would add is that it would be nice if there tea/coffee facilities in each room, but other than that it was really value for money.

"etap - exactly the bargain you would expect."
9th April 2012, Nottingham, United Kingdom
For the advance booking price we paid we got exactly what we expected: you always get the same style room, mini shower and own toilet - all clean and priavte for less than you would pay to share in most places. They are located on the outskirts of cities but are a brilliant bargain to use as a stop off after a cracking night out - who needs the breakfasts anyway?

"Budget hotel"
1st February 2012, mealdates, Warrington
I knew that the hotel was by a main road but could not have predicted traffic all through the night.Found that I had to pay £3 to park in their hotel carpark which was not used by anybody other than hotel guests. The blind would not pull down to cover full window so had to use rucksacks to block rest of light from road.Bed comfortable and shower big enough for sumo wrestler. Toilet in a room on its own.

"Basic"
17th September 2011, Redditch
Although clean, the level of this hotel was very basic. I have not stopped in anything like it before and will not do again.Bed very uncomfortable, pillow rock hard and there was an electricity generator right outside my room which started up at 4am, so it was impossible to have the window open as it was much too noisy. There was no bathroom, the hand basin was in the room, the toilet felt as though it was in a cupboard and I did not even venture into the shower cubicle.

"ETAP BRADFORD"
13th September 2011, Bradford, United Kingdom
I stay frequently in this hotel and it is cheap and cheerful and worth the price you pay (£18.00 in my case). However there are some complaints which could be easily rectified:1. Broken window (won't open/close)2. No remote control for television3. Television not tuned in to available channels (no BBC for example).

"ETAP Bradford"
11th August 2011, gene-genie2
Modern new hotel situated a short walk from the City Centre. Friendly helpful staff and good basic rooms. Only negatives were that there was a lot of traffic noise in the front facing rooms. Also the hotel address is Canal Road but it is in Shipley Airedale Road. The postcode did not exist on my SatNav so took a while to find.

"Definitely a mixed experience !"
28th July 2011, Redruth
Staying with my wife and two teenagers in two rooms we found it up to the usual standards with a two provisos - in neither of the rooms would the window open, this on one of the hottest weekends of the year so far! Not great. Secondly, some of the guests seem to think that it is perfectly acceptable to have their local family visiting at anytime up to 2.00 am. The noise from cars, banging doors, people shouting and little kids running around screaming was inconsiderate to say the least. The ultimate irony was to find that, on waking the following morning, our noisy neighbours had put a "do not disturb" hanger on the door.Would I recommend this hotel - yes if the windows are fixed and you are luckier with the other guests. If you cant take the noise and want fresh air then go elsewhere!

"My stay at the ETAP"
6th July 2011, Graham_Pratt, Clayhanger
This is a great place to stay for the odd night. The breakfast was excellent. It would be good if ETAP took Capital Bond vouchers like the other hotels in the chain, but this is only a slight criticism.

"No Sleep"
16th May 2011, Hereford
Paid £25 a night plus £3.75 each for breakfast and stayed two nights. The first night we were given a room on the second floor at the front of the hotel overlooking the six lane main road. The traffic noise went on all night so we did not get any sleep. You cannot have more than 1 pillow each so we had to buy more at Tescos. Breakfast next morning had run out of milk by 8am. Second night in rear room and perfect silence. All the bbedroom windows are screwed shut so cannot open. No sugar by 7.30am on second morning at breakfast. Still for what you pay and providing you get a rear room not bad. Hotel full of workmen with vans most parked in the disabled spaces which I need.

"Not too bad all things considering"
6th May 2011, Stoke on Trent
The service on arrival to book in was appalling we had to wait for around 10 mins for the receptionist to appear from the back office, even though we could see that she was in there. The room was far too hot, the air conditioning didn't work and if you opened the windows it was far too noisy, that is if it stayed open. The double glazing didn't block out all the road noise and this venue is right alongside a very busy main road, so the noise from the traffic, even at night can be to much. The beds are little more than a mattress on a hardboard base and are extremely hard not making for a very restful nights sleep.Saying all this, its not bad considering the price, you do get what you pay for, and if Travelodge had been available at the same price or cheaper I would have booked that instead.

very noisey , difficult to find enterance for parking
"Etap at Bradford were not expecting us, EVEN THOUGH WE HAD BOOKED!"
8th January 2011, Bradford
As we arrived to check in the etap staff did not recognise the reference number that I had read out to them. The two Lady recptionists on new years eve had not a glue. The manger in the office had no idea either! We were left standing embarassed knowing that we had already booked and paid for the room. Etap staff could not get onto the internet therefore I used my own laptop to look up my emails to prove to the staff that we had booked and paid for the room already! Etap said there was a confusion with bookings from head office and the internet was down and bookings were being sent in the post. It was a shame as the room was clean, location was good and value was outstanding.
