Just minutes from Centre by bus or walking. Convenient to explore the region. Large rooms, good parking, possibility to cook in the room. Very helpfull and friendly staff. We recommend
"A good hotel for visiting High Normandy"
13th April 2012, Torino, Italy
We stayed in the hotel for two nights. I like the Suite Novotel brand because the rooms are quite spacious even for three-adult occupancy. The hotel is very good and the rooms/bathrooms/beds are just OK; however the surroundings are definitely not. In any case, it's a short walk off the city center, and public transportation (buses) is fine. Free parking in the neighborhood is possible; we preferred to use the indoor parking lot, available at 10 Euros per night (in my view, a little bit too expensive). The hotel is in a good position for both inbound and outbound travelling by car. Check-in and check-out went easy, firendly and fast (I used French). Two flawns: breakfast a little bit below the expectations (no scrambled/poached eggs, no bacon, no ham; just one type of cheese); the free internet connection (wifi) is rather slow compared to other Accor hotels.

Service not so great. Rooms are OK but cleaning is not perfect. Parking was full. Otherwise the rest is OK, conveniently located and easy access unless you need to be in the center (15' away by walking).
"Good stop Bad breakfrast"
25th March 2012, Ashford, United Kingdom
The hotel is reasonably convenient with views over the Seine and parking. Room is clean and tidy with decent bathroom and facilities. One odd thing, mini dishwasher no dishes. Good double glazing cuts out traffic noise. The bad thing is the breakfast. Very expensive but way below usual Accor standards. Two small bits of cheese, no cooked meats just small baguette and tasteless not fresh brioche. A few sad prepacked cakes. Novotel should be ashamed to offer this for nearly £12 per head.
"Nice holiday but not good hotel"
16th February 2012, London, United Kingdom
Stayed at Suite Novotel Rouen for a weekend and booked 2 Premium Suites with a panoramic view of the Seine and Rouen Cathedral. One room was on the 2 floor and the other on 3rd one. We were so annoyed and very disappointed to see that rooms haven't looked clean at all and in the kitchen basin one of our rooms we found finished cigarette. After our complain the receptionist said that he will come over and will clean the basin himself. Very odd.In the evening the whole 2nd floor was covered by cigarette smoke which was completely disgusting. Wouldn't advice anyone to stay in the hotel.
"Perfect Stop Over"
6th January 2012, 21chestnut, northants
We booked this hotel as stop over for one night in Janaury 2012. The welcome from the front desk was very efficient and we were given all the information that we needed. The room was clean and very well laid out.In the evening we walked into town from the hotel a 10 minute walk. it was New Years Day so we struggled to find somewhere to eat as all the restaurants were closed, when we returned to the hotel and told the receptionist she was vey helpful and gave us a pizza menu for the local take away. All in a perfect stop over hotel well placed with a secure car park
"Brilliantly planned room for families"
8th September 2011, Birmingham, United Kingdom
Our one night stay went very smoothly from booking through to departure. We requested a cot which was ready in the room when we arrived. There was plenty of space for two adults, a nine year old and a baby. Great to have all the facilities in the room and the ability to divide the room. The free movies were an unexopected bonus with an amazing choice of recent releases. Excellant. Would recommenrd and will return.
"comfort of the room"

We have found the suite at the Novotel very clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable.I loved the bed I had a great night sleep specialy after a week sleeping on so not cofortable bed on acamping holiday! The Hotel was a walking distance from the town centre and very close to a couple of cool bars/restaurant set near the lovely river.
"Worth a try if you have young children"
27th August 2011, Belper, UK
Excellent staff. Rooms partition to create sleeping zones for children. Limited underground parking not roof-box friendly, but they store your box if you take it off. McDonalds very near, river walks and city centre not far away either.
"Excellent stopover hotel"
7th August 2011, Cambridge, UK
Stayed here for 1 night while travelling back from Vendee to Calais. Room was excellent, well thought out with sliding partitions between us and the kids beds. Staff very helpful, pointing us in the right direction for a good evening meal. Secure car parking available for 10 Euros per night - worth it if you've got a fully loaded up car and don't want to leave it on the street.
"SuiteNovotel Rouen"

We had a lovely view of the River Seine - and the busy road and railway line along it. The traffic and train noise continued throughout the night & I had to check to make sure a window was not open. On the other hand, my mum's room, facing the city was very quiet. The rooms were quite nice - separate loo to bathroom was handy, with 4 of us in the room. And the room divider screens were well designed.I thought that the advertised 'kitchenette' was misnamed - it had a kettle and microwave, but only 2 cups (with 1 coffee whitener!!), 2 glasses and 2 stirrers for 4 of us - no plates or cutlery. I also could not find a folder with information about the surrounding area - would have been nice to know there was a Carrefour City a block away.Staff were friendly and helpful, parking handy and location good.
"A great stopover"
15th June 2011, Derby
Hotel was easy to find, found an unrestricted parking bay outside hotel, good job as the secure parking had height restriction and we had bikes on the roof of the car! Room ideal for families, plenty of space and the 2 single beds ideal for our 2 boys and the main bed was comfortable. Bathroom great. Hotel staff friendly and spoke good English, gave us a map and directed us to the centre of Rouen, found a great Pizza Restaurant, just what we needed after a long day travelling. Breakfast was OK, usual continental basics but some strange things in tubs and quite expensive for what it was, luckily kids were free. Would definately stay there again as a stopover.
