it was a nice enjoyable trip, too far from the heart of the city, but nice serene atmosphere..special mention of staff like rakamah who made our stay more pleasent ...she had most of the staff were very courteous and smiling..which made our holiday real good

"Did not meet expectations"

Unfortunately this hotel did not meet our expectations. We have stayed at Novotel at Tanjung Benoa many times, this is a fantastic hotel but we thought we would try the Nusa Dua hotel, big mistake, it does not rate anywhere near the standard of Novotel Tanjung Benoa.We booked a 2 bedroom apartment at a great deal of extra expense at Nusa Dua because it had a private pool. We thought it would be nice to be able to relax by the private pool, WRONG. During our stay there was construction every day on the apartment above us, hammering, power tools so it was impossible to stay in our room and even worse outside at the pool. This was mentioned to hotel staff who showed no concern with our complaint.Airconditioning in the bedroom only seemed to work when it wanted to.Breakfast was lousy, slow service, the staff appeared disorganised and amateurish, ran out of food varieties etc. Food generally at the hotel was very ordinary.We stayed 7 nights in Bali, the last 3 nights at Novotel Nusa Dua, unfortunately the sad experience at Nusa Dua put a real downer on an otherwise great stay in Bali. We would never stay there again.

"ok.but wouldn't stay there again."

We stayed at the Novotel in May for 7 nights. We had a one bedroom villa on the fourth floor. The design of the bathroom wasn't that great so everytime we had a shower water would spill out. We also had people above us and we're not sure what was in the room but they would make dragging noises all times of the day and night. The breakfast was good but because the restaurant is not enclosed it was sooo hot. The happy hour at the Pool bar is good and the private beach was fantastic.

"Great Private Beach"

Our stay at Novotel Nusa Dua is memorable. The beach is stunning, but the room we stayed in somewhat 'old'. It is lack of modern touch as me and my wife prefers a more modern room interior

"Great Stay for the family"

We had a great stay at this hotel and would highly recommend for families with kids. First 2 nights in a 2 b/r with pool and then 4 nights in a 1 bedroom. Very clean and rooms a great size. Kids club not really suitable for kids over 8 - my son was a bit bored.Some people say Nusa Dua is boring - but like anywhere it's what you make of it. We rode bikes around Nusa Dua (free activity with guide), walked along the beach to a near by temple, watched the locals harvest seaweed, ate at great local resturants and relaxed. The beach club was enjoyable, but the current pretty strong.

"Great beach"

This was the first of 4 resorts we were to stay on this trip.Deluxe rom nice & big, bathroom huge.Balcony not private & only 1 chair? asked for another but were told only one chair for balcony.Probably would book the 1 bedroom apartment if there was a next time.Came back from dinner to find a "portacot" set up !! Those days are long gone & staff apologetic & removed it.Great Mojito's in beautiful long glass.As in most resorts, it seems that people ignore the signs about not reserving sun lounges..The place child friendly & we found the lack of thought for others very evident by those parents who think it's okay for them & their children to be the centre of attention.Also woken 0630 by noise from these people in the swimming pool. On a happier note, the Beach Club was great & we mostly caught the shuttle bus but is a nice walk too.Staff friendly everywhere but particularly nice at the beach.Very obliging by putting the large Bintang in an ice bucket l.Much quieter at the beach too. Would recommend as family holiday, but if you have grownup & your kids have too....& you'd like a quiet, relaxing holiday.....get a pool villa

"Honeymoon"

Grear for honeymooners.Lovely Property,Speacious rooms and overalla good experience,.Private beach was abt 5 minutes ferried by a private shuttle but not attached to the property so going to the beach for a night walk was not possible.for water sports i would suggest to take a bike on rent and ride it early morning to benoa and bargain for yourself,prices are cheaper as compared to the hotel rates.Overall its a good property

"Great resort with kids club"

We stayed at this resort again for it's location, big lagoon pool, friendly staff and the kids club. Our kids love the kids club and the different activities they do, the kids club staff are very friendly and they remembered the kids from our last stay.I tried out the free daily adult activities and can recommend the bike tour around Nusa Dua as I saw places that I would not normally see and the water aerobics (the kids jointed in).The buffet breakfast had a wide selection of food and beverages and was always filled up. We had lunch and dinners at the bar , the food was always fresh and the servings were very generous for the price you pay.There is free internet connection at the bar area so you can surf the net while the kids are swimming.Overall I would definetly be coming back to this hotel when we are next going to Bali.

"Bad Experience at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua"

I had two different bookings for two rooms.When I checked in, one of my booking did not exist.The check in took long time. I had to send email from Accor to prove that I had two bookings. I had to send it twice as Nusa Dua Bali hotel staff still did not receive the mail from Accor. Finally, I got the rooms. The reception staff clearly stated that breakfast is complimentary for children up to 15 years.When I was about to enter the restaurant for breakfast with my family, the restaurant staff said the children would be charged. After talking to the supervisor, I guessed, she let my family in to the restaurant. I felt embarrassed because besides my family member, there were also other guests queueing for breakfast.When I checked out, I was told that my other booking had not been paid.I always booked the room from Accor website, my bookings should had been paid by my credit card when I made the bookings.As I was in the hurry to go to the airport, I paid the charges. The staff promised to investigate and would refund if I really had paid.Until today, I do not receive any update from Nusa Dua Bali hotel staff.Make sure you have enough proof before you stay at Nusa Dua Bali hotel.

The staff of the hotel were friendly and helpful. The hotel was located in beautiful area. During my stay, the hotel provided extra service by giving breakfast free of charge in the first day. It will be very good if the breakfast is provided free of charge every day, including the complimentary day.

"Best Service - Best Location- Best Staff & Best Value"

I stayed for 3 nights at the Novotel - Nusa Dua and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Previously I had not stayed in any Novotel property and had an image of Novotel being a mid range affordable property without much frills. But I was proved wrong when I stayed at the Novotel - Nusa Dua. It is a very good mid range luxury resort. It has the following positives1) It is very good for families and young couples alike2) The rooms are neat, well located and very spacious3) The staff especially at the A Club member desk is very helpful & very prompt at resolving an problems4) The resort has a small private beach club which is very well maintained and perfect spot to relax5) The best part is that the resort has a very very affordable price range. It provides you all facilities of a up-scale resort at very affordable prices6) The resort also arranges very good local sightseeing programs and has good selection of daily activities like local barong dance, scuba training etc The only negative is the limited choice & variety in the food menu. it largely has italian and Indonesian choices & popular cuisines like indian, chinese etc are missing. But there are lot of good local restaurants especially in the near by bali collection area where you can enjoy a wide variety of cuisinesWill surely stay again at the Novotel Nusa Dua when we return to Bali

enjoyed this hotel, service great, has a great coffee shop on premises, it is a little further away from kuta than I normally like but found some great restaurants near by and great massages at the resort, excellent valueservices at the resort are exceptional

"Relaxing and pleasant stay."

We recently stayed at the Novotel Nusa Dua for a week in a one bedroom suite during their Nyepi Day celebrations. It was interesting to see how other cultures celebrate their New Year. We were able to walk to Bali Collections and there was also shops in the streets behind the hotel.The hotels food was excellent and being an Accor member it was very reasonably priced.Our one bedroom suite was huge but the bed was much harder than we were used to.But all up, we had a great holiday and didn't want to leave.

"Lovely staff - Complex becoming aged"

We stayed in a double room on the 3rd floor. We felt this particular room showed a lot of wear and tear, especially the polished timber floor with many scratches etc., and is most probably due for refurbishment. The complex is not on the beach, a shuttle bus runs to the beach and beach restaurant/bar every 20 minutes past the golf course which is fine. Huge pool area which ideally suits the kids etc. The staff are lovely, efficient and friendly as most Balinese are. They do well to communicate with the different languages, Japanese and Europeans which there were many, not a lot of Australians during our stay. Food was okay, smorgasbord breakfast good value. More typically a family based resort but overall we enjoyed the quietness of Nusa Dua after spending 14 days in Legian.

Novotel Bali Nusa Dua.....Simply lovely. We stayed there for 7 nights with family and we loved it. Our reception upon arrival was very welcoming and efficient. The only hitch was that my daughter's room wasn't ready, not a big problem as they were able to rest with their children in our room. The rooms were lovely. My hubby and I had a 1 bedroom Suite and it was perfect. Large, spacious, spotless, modern. My daughter had a 2 bedroom Suite and it was sensational. Huge, spacious, spotless, modern. Their ensuite bathroom (one of two) was bigger than some hotel rooms! The staff were lovely, lovely, lovely and the restaraunt was great. You must try their chicken cannelloni! We will definately stay there again!

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, spa is recommended to try. Unfortunately, it is a bit far from the beach.Avoid rooms near the pool on ground floor as it can be noisy at night times.

Love this hotel. We have stayed here twice. Great location. Shuttle bus to & from Bali Collection for shopping and eating on the hour.Great selection of restaurants here with music every night. Shuttle to and from the beach also.Great Aromatherapy Spa for massage ,pedicure,manicure etc. Pause Cafe also lovely for coffee lunch & snacks all made on site. We go to Bali to chill out somewhere very peaceful. This is it.Mainly families & couples. No nightclubs!!

"Absolutley Amazing"

"Rainy Season"

We stayed for a week ay Novatel with our young girl of 2 years age. Perfect hotel for families, great pool, kids club, fun 5 minute ride on hotel bus to the beach.The food at the hotel is great, the service is always great. It rained a lot while we were there but no big deal, we spent our time in the pool and getting massages!Only complaint was the bathroom. The executive room we had was spacious and perfect for a small family, however there was something weird about the layout of the bathroom that caused water spray out of the shower. Annoying but no big deal as we only spent 10 minutes a day in the shower!Would certainly recommend this hotel to families or even couples, well located part of Nusa Dua.

"Fabulous, Affordable, Quality Resort"

We had a wonderful stay, right from the time of arrival. Staff very friendly, efficient and provided a high level of customer service. Rooms, 2 bedroom Exec suite, fabulous, excellent for a family stay - kitchenette very handy, and the lounge-living area very spacious .. a home away from home.Lagoon pool wonderful, shady in areas so good for different requirements, large enough to be able to have private areas & kids free if required.Restaurant staff at all locations very accomodating, especially with young children.Kids club .. very accomodating.Very family friendlly resort.

"Family holiday to Nusa Dua"

First time to Nusa Dua and loved it! The Novotel was wonderful for a young family with a big pool & kids club. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only negative, not too many food options outside of the resort. Really recommend the seafood BBQ on the beach at Novotel! It was amazing!
