Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Suited me perfectly"

4th May 2012, Lynne050, Melbourne, Australia

I stayed at The Hills Lodge as it is so conveniently located to where I needed to go for work. The staff were friendly and efficient and I was in a room in the newer wing which was spacious and well appointed. I wish hotels would include internet as I feel it's quite cheeky to have to pay extra-it's a bonus when internet is included, shame it wasn't! The restaurant for dinner was quite pricey but extremely good food with an interesting and varied menu. Staff very obliging. I was a return guest and will definitely stay there again.

A quiet restful hotel. The room was very clean and spacious. Restaurant -food excellent and good atmosphere. Helpful staff in the hotel.

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 5.0 out of 5 stars "A Well Kept Secret"

26th April 2012, Canberra

You don't expect to see a decent hotel in this part of Sydney. A great hotel to stay at if you are in this part of town or if you are passing through Sydney to go to a destination further North or South. It is very close to M2 and M7. The hotel is great for a good rest and it has a nice quiet bar and restaurant. It could do with a bit more parking space though because it seems to be a very popular wedding venue.

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Good place to stay on outskirts of Sydney"

27th March 2012, Melbourne, Australia

We were travelling north and wanted a place to stay near the M7. The staff were friendly and the food was good. The beds were a bit spongy. Noise from traffic was minimal.

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Good Quality Hotel"

15th March 2012, Canberra

Very good quality hotel with a country feel about it. The location was not perfect for us but I am sure business travellers covering the north west of Sydney will find it very handy. I don't know why Accor keep putting us into the rooms for the disabled. Are they preparing us for our future?

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 4.0 out of 5 stars "The Shower was the winner"

14th March 2012, Melbourne, Australia

Great spot for business related stays. Room Wifi was poor but bed and shower made up for that. The Breakfast included a good selection and started early enough for those first meeting times.

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Pleasant Stay"

23rd February 2012, Brisbane, Australia

Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. Your employee that was on the front desk on arrival and departure was such a lovely woman, going out of her way to be helpful and kind. We deinitely stay at the Hills Lodge when next staying in Sydney.

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great Place to stay"

21st February 2012, Penrith, Australia

we found the location of this place great ,parking was excellent ,food very nice and well presented ,,,staff were courteous and helpful ,,being close to a main road we thought that it would be noisy ,but not at all .......pricing all around excellent ,,,it was nice to have a sofa lounge to sit on and watch tv ,,,,and the standard 11am checkout wonderful ,,,,we certainly will return as its not to far to go and away from hustle of the city ,,,,,,,,,and certainly wouldn;t hesitate to recommend to others ,

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Our Stay At the Grand Mecure, Castle Hill"

16th February 2012, Newcastle, Australia

Frankly, I was impressed. The only difficult thing about getting was trusting the gps. While the hotel is on a very busy road, our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Parking was secure and easy to access. We had an excellent and leisurely breakfast in the restaurant. Unfortunately we left some clothing in the wardrobe, but the staff efficiently sorted that for us.A very pleasant stay that we both thought was extreemly good value.

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Regular business travel"

12th February 2012, Hope Island, Australia

The staff are great and as a returning customer, they always make you feel at home. Convenient location to office and always plenty of parking. Rooms are quiet generous in size. A suggestion for improvement would be to see the menu (restaurant and room service) updated more often.

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great as usual"

8th February 2012, Perth

Have stayed here each year for the last five years when attending a business conference and have always had a very pleasant stay. Cheryl in the office was extremely helpful in assisting us in arranging aour accomodation dates. The food and service was great but the bar closes too early.

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 4.0 out of 5 stars "The Hills Lodge"

31st January 2012, Swansea, Australia

Appealing Tudor-style building, plenty of parking space. Courteous and attentative reception staff. Large clean rooms with all the expected facilities, fantastic shower pressure. Quiet despite position on busy Windsor road. Really good restaurant.

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Wedding"

Stayed at the Grand Mercure Hills Lodge as niece got married in the courtyard and had the reception in one of the reception rooms. I would highly recommend the hills lodge for weddings or functions or leisure

Grand Mercure The Hills Lodge: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Hotel Review"

19th January 2012, Newcastle, Australia

Hotel itself is lovely and clean. Staff at check in were not overly friendly. Beds need to be updated as this was one of the worst night's sleep I have had in a long time. TV's are old and probably need to be updated. Food and service in the restaurant was very good. There was a wedding on the night we stayed and the guests were exceptionally noisy later in the evening. Overall an average night in a hotel.
