"Average Hotel"

We stayed in this hotel in a "suprior" room, for 3 nights on business and had no problems, other than the internet not working in the room. This was fixed, but only after an argument with the perosn at the check in who insisted that the problem concerned the entire hotel. After the intervention of a manager, the problem was immediately sorted out.The hotel is 50 m from the Beijing underground and airport train station, making it very convenient to get around town. Taxis are sometimes a problem because the hotel is not on a main street.The breakfast has a wide choice of items, but of mediocre quality and does not justify the high cost they charge. It is better to book a room with breakfast included in the rate than to have to pay it separately.

The hotel is located right in front of San Yuan Qiao train station - Airport Express stop - located on Metro Line 10.The breakfast spread, however, could be much more appealing.

Great hotel, service excellent apart from when it comes to getting a taxi, this isn't very easy as hotel sits back from main road. Food excellent along with service in bar.

There is no stand lighting facility around desk.We had to make business report and last time felt very difficult to read and type in PC.If no fixing light is possible, tempolary lighting is acceptable.

"Good location but insufficient facility management"

This hotel is well located and the room I lived in was quite nice and big enough. But I feel that the hotel management on the facility is quite in a mess, e.g. the room I lived in, has some wrong information in the shower information, the hot and cold water was wrongly indicated. Such problems as I heard exist in every room. What's more troublesome was the telephone in my room could not reach the receptionist through the shortcut key on the phone. I have to call 0 to the switchboard and ask them to transfer to reception. The hotel look quite nice but inside is not decently organized. The Spanish manager and staffs on duty in the night was nice even I was dissapointed with the facility management.

I thought this Novotel is as good as in France, but i was so disappointed of everything, the room is so small, and without razor and shaving cream. Also i have to ask for my room card for every entrance, i don't know even why. Nothing is so good in this hotel.

I was upgraded to the Club Floor, but came with no regular Club benefits except the Club Lounge. Even for breakfast, you have to go to the regular cafe downstairs. The Club Floor is also the Green Floor, which means there are no basic toiletries included -- no shampoo, no bath gel, no toothbrush. This is quite different from what Asian travellers usually expect from an Asian hotel. You can call the hotel to get those though, so it's a relief. But if you really wish to protect the environment, and encourage less wastage, the hotel could do a better job by sending an email before guest arrives, and inform him / her of this special floor and special arrangement.

Good value for money. Rooms slightly small but clean. Breakfast very good. Location good near subway station, easy to get to centre of town. Check in quick and easy as well as checking out. Taxi was ordered and arrived.

All in all it's a good hotel for the purpose of traveling business or pleasure but don't expect too much of it.convenient location (airport express line/MTR station) - easy access to downtown - it's a real city hotel so can be noisy - room is ok, nothing special - no great expectations from the restaurant.

Very nice hotel and convenient location. Pleasant and courteous staff.I do realize the road access to the hotel from the Sanyuan Station is outside the jurisdiction of the hotel. But it leaves an initial poor impression of the hotel. On the rainy day, it could even pose a potential safety hazard to hotel visitors. People could slip and fall due to the exposes muddy surface outside the hotel.Please look into this issue.

"Perfect location and nicely decorated room"

Great location with subway right in front of the hotel to save time moving around Beijing, getting to and from the Beijing airport is a breeze. Nice and clean room with helpful staff upon checking in. The room has everything to offer except that i find that the room air-condition is not strong enough for comfort when the outside heat is 35 degree high!

"Excellent Location"

Easy access to the subway and freeways. Stopping point for the Airport Express. Limited restaurant and bar selection. But the fitness center is very good. Would like a way to book the hotel with an international credit card, but to pay with my RMB debit card. Seems no way to do this.

There is a problem in the toilet, some smelly odour( like sewage) in room 320 during the stay. Call to house keeping for complaint, they recommend either I can to another room or put some air freshener. I decide to put the air freshener, but the smeel still awful. I strongly suggest that, the management should carried a more details maintenance program to upkeep the good condition of the hotel. Last time, I stronly recomment this hotel to friends who visit Beijing, because near to the train station of Airport express. But this time make a bad experience.

This is a nice 4 star hotel with convenient location, accessible within 5 minutes walk from subway and airport express stations. Near the hotel is the Phoenix City with several resturants and a small supermarket, all for affluent customers. The rooms are small but comfortable. Service is warm and considerate.

Drain is not 100% fitted to the face washing bowl outlet. Mattress is smaller than the bed and the stick out portion (at the corner) may cause injury.
