Very centre location but old structure, need a refresh

Great overall experience, and great impression made by Timur(Front of house manager) always ready to listen to a guest constructive feedback with very professional and friendly attitude, outstanding I must say for all service I have experienced in Kazan in general. Minus was the bar staff never at the bar for the guests and some other little minuses which are not experience changing at all. Nice and clean rooms equipped with all that you might need! Thank you Timur and also the lady that checked in was kind too. See you again!

Well-located, issues arose but were dealt with promptly

The hotel is very well-located. Breakfasts are good (though the menu is rather repetitive). The initial experience was spoiled because we were given a room with an extremely creaky bed and hard mattresses. The bed made it impossible to turn without making a loud noise. Unfortunately on our first night we woke up constantly. The room was absolutely unlivable because of that bed. At 5 am I went down to reception and asked to change the room, which they did (though that was done without issuing any apology for making us suffer the first night). That room (433 or 443, I don't remember which), should never be given to any guest. The rest of the stay after the room was changed was ok.

I stayed at ibis Kazan already couple of times, always a good experience. It is an ibis, that feels close to Novotel hotels where I usually prefer to stay on business trips. It became my favourite hotel in Kazan. Has a great location, Bauman pedestrian street with a big choice of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Also Kremlin is very close. Another plus is that breakfast starts already from 6:30. Can be good on business trips, when one needs to leave early.
