Mercure Dunedin Leisure Lodge - hotel reviews in Dunedin

Mercure Dunedin Leisure Lodge: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Nice room; obliging staff"

16th August 2013, GingePalmy, Dunedin

On booking we asked if there was a double room available, as the special price wasa for a twin room. The hotel gave us a complimentary upgrade- much appreciated. Comfy bed, recently refurbished room- we were well treated. We ate at the hotel restaurant, where the discount using our Advantage Plus card made the meal value for money.

Mercure Dunedin Leisure Lodge: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great budget hotel, right at the edge of the city, easy to get in and out of city"

31st July 2013, YNot7777, Christchurch, New Zealand

Great budget hotel. The room is of good size in Dunedin standard. Other Dunedin hotel rooms are very tiny, but this is a great size room with two twin beds.Quiet room even though it is right next to the motorway.

Mercure Dunedin Leisure Lodge: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Comfy hotel, good breakfast"

11th July 2013, Sydney

This hotel appears to be reasonably old, but the rooms have been done up nicely. The location is a little to the north of most of Dunedin's attractions, but the upside is there is a large car park and it is only about 30 minutes to walk into town. The cooked breakfast meals were very nice and the room was quite comfortable. We had slightly slow service at the restaurant a few times as it appeared the staff were very busy

Mercure Dunedin Leisure Lodge: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Good night's sleep"

2nd July 2013

Away from Octagon but pleasant and relaxing - slept right through.Staff cheerful and helpful.Heater on in the room prior to check in - not always so in other hotels!Within walking distance of University Oval and the Glasshouse.

Mercure Dunedin Leisure Lodge: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Geoff"

1st July 2013, Christchurch

Having stayed in a Dunedin motel the previous week, we decided to spend the next week in the Dunedin Leisure lodge. The accomodation was great compared with the Motel, warm given the cold weather, also we enjoyed the food in the restaurant, underrated given the high quality.
