Good convenient location with excellent service by most staffs. Nicely decorated and even smells great the moment u walk into the main hall.

though it is beautifully appointed, and well maintained, the five star price is accompanied by 1 star service. A 37 minute waiting time at check (sent to two locations) carrying three bags myself from the curb, having to get bags myself once checked in, a room service that was 20 minutes too llong, removal of a partial tray when not instructed to do so, an inability to be able to print a bill....need i go on?

"An excellent hotel!"

Stayed for 3 nights in a Club Room. Great room and excellent service staff; left my mobile phone on SQ flight and the front desk took care of it all, including getting my phone back from the airport. Overall, a very enjoyable stay....highly recommended.

"EXCELLENT HOTEL"

"Not satisfactory"

The services in this hotel is not satisfactory. There's so much to be complain about, but it will be a waste of time to do so, as we will not be coming back anyway.You have a good place, but the management should be looking at the services & attitude of their staff and I believe you should be looking hard - my wife & I are not happy.Thank you

"Great Hotel!"

We love the hotel and its location.First time in Beijing, location is on major road and very close to the nearest Subway.Room and amenities are top notch.Great swimming pool to warm ourselves after a busy day in cold Beijing.Need a minor upgrade on English conversation with the front desk staff and concierge as the ones we worked with had a hard time speaking English in this Five Stars hotel.The staff had been very helpful and friendly, will recommend this hotel to my friends.

"Terrible Service"

You would expect the highest service in a 5 star hotel like the Sofitel Platinum , well you will be greatly disappointed , I had one of the worse treatments of a 5 star hotel.I start with the front desk that the first person she tells is : one or 2 nights (not a hello , how was your trip etc); secondly I've been asked for a credit card (note that I've prepaid my night already) and without asking me what she was doing hold a 800 USD credit on my credit card.I reported this to the Manager that wasn't available and therefore nobody apologise, to continue with the bad experience at -10C outside you would expect a concierge service to call you or get you a cab and not wait outside of the hotel and searching for one yourself , well you can expect this at the Wanda Sofitel because this is what happened.Lastly when having a breakfast buffett and decided to take my cup of coffee with my to my room I've been chased by the restaurant hostess to ask where I was going with the cup like if I was going to steal it and I've ben asked for my room number.Anyway this is clearly not a good trestment of a 5 star hotel, my advice is expect the worse because they need to improve 200% , not a chance I will go back again.

The standard was very good in my past stay. But the recent stay was a great disappointment. The check-in staff was unfriendly and the room was not as clean as what it was expected to be. I felt that the conciege staff was far better than the counter reception staff.

"Scaling the Great Wall"

Located in a business district and is a 8-10 minute walk to the nearest subway station (Dawanglu). Traveling with kids is difficult via subway as it is packed with so many people, also, traffic is terrible during rush hours in the main thoroughfares. Although there is a big Walmart store at the back of the hotel to buy sweet fruits and bottled water, there are only few shops and restaurants near the area. Hotel lobby, room, toilet and indoor swimming pool were excellently designed and furnished.

On 10 Sep, it was a rainy day. We wanted to go supermarket to get some stuff, so borrowed an umbraller from the the 5-star hotel, Sofitel Wanda. They tried to find us an old umbraller and yet asked us to pay a deposit of RMB 100!!!!!However, the cleaners have done a very good job for the 2 days that we stayed there.

This Sofitel is from my point of view one of the top 10 Sofitel in the word. Best infrastructure and Service.Aditionally I received an upgrade. The Suite is amazing.The hotel is stringly to recommend.

"Wanda's ticks all the boxes"

From the moment we walked inside the Sofitel Wanda what we saw did not disappoint us. We were greeted by charming and efficient front desk staff. The concierge team made our travel for our 3 days safe and easy. They worked outside the normal we requested a cycle tour which has not been asked for before. They organized this for us so efficiently even safety insurance was given to us. I cannot fault the service, the rooms or the location. If you wish to dine outside the Hotel the streets nearby all provide excellent meals, the shopping centers are within walking distant, taxi rides to Wangfung Street,Silk Markets, all and easy taxi ride away, the concierge staff ensure the taxi driver understands where we actually wanted to go and ensured we knew how to get back to the hotel. We both look forward to going back to Wanda to stay:)

This hotel is very smart and accessible to business venues. The hotel is a little at the expensive end of hotels in Beijing but if you obtain a good package it makes the stay more affordable. The service is generally very good and if something goes amiss they a very accommodating to fix the concern. The hotel has good restaurants but if you are wanting to just get simple food and snacks, there is a Walmart just up the street.

Beautiful hotel with large clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. It's in a excellent location close to shops and the Silk St Markets, which can be a great market for bargains. If your looking for 5 star luxury this is the hotel.

Firstly, the hotel provides an elegant ambience and put the guests in a high quality environment and comfort. The service staff that I experience whether at the reception, the gym or house-keeping are professional. They make all guests felt welcome including my friends that visit me at the hotel.

First, the hardware is luxury and cozy. You can see your kid in the bath lying in the bed.My kid likes the motor-curtain. The view from 22th floor is impressive.The swimming pool is large and good. There is no swimming plate.Second, the staff are very helpful and kind. Especially Alan Zhang, the Chef has impressed me. He gave us the Kimchi not requested and asked my son's favorite food to me and then served a separate food for my son in the Dinner of VIC. I appreciate Alan Zhang's care. The staff of conceiege are also very kind and competent.
