"Amazing Hotel"

I was unfortunately only staying at this hotel for one night, i would have loved it to have been more, but i will definitely be staying there again.The hotel staff were brilliant and very friendly and the service was excellent.Some friends met me there and we ate in Vivre restaurant and the food was great, on of my friends said it was the best cooked steak they had had in a very long time, cooked to perfection - what better recommendation can you give than that.The fact the hotel is connected to T5 made it so easy the next day to walk over to get my flight, the whole experience was definitely 5 star.

Convenient location. Walked to hotel from Terminal 5 arrival. Took Heathrow Express Train (free) for departure terminal. Very clean and quiet room. Staff were quite helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Water in shower was not hot. Had to pay extra for high speed internet despite being a member of the hotel's loyalty program. This has not been the case with other hotel chains. Only one chair in room so if you spend a lot of time in room only one person has a seat.

From arrival to departure the service and attention to detail at this new airport venue was superb: the standard of room and bedding was second to none, providing us the the best possible sleep. Dinner, (menu and service), in 'Belle Epoque' was wonderful, but best of all was the meet 'n greet service on arrival, from foyer through to room door was exceptional - superb! Well done!

A really clean and comfortable modern hotel located right on Heathrow T5 so perfect if you are flying in or out on BA. Less good as a base as travel into London on The Heathrow Express is expensive (The tube is cheaper). Only gripe is that breakfast finishes at 10, which is a bit early if you are catching up on sleep
"Enjoyable Stopover"

Stayed at the T5 Sofitel with family whilst enroute to Hong Kong from Munich. Found the facilities to be wonderful and the staff to be engaging and helpful. If you need a hotel near Heathrow don't bother with a supposed "airport hotel" stay at the Sofitel.

Great "hardware" and poor "software". All staff is polite and kind, but each particular task is not done well enough. My surname and first name was mixed in the computer system of the hotel, so I was not able to use wi-fi till I contacted receptionist. We stayed for 2 nights, but our electronic keys were programmed just for 1 night. If it is 5 star hotel why we had problems with lunch on Sunday. Main restaurant was closed for British Airways lunch, so all guest were moved to the lobby area, where menu is vey basic. There wer no even desert menu available. Full selection for beakfast is not available 40 minutes before official closing time. Dinner on Sunday was a problem as only one restaurant is opened and was probably understaffed as many tables had "reserved" sign, but nobody came to these tables during entire period of our dinner (over 90 minutes).

This hotel is perfect for T5 travellers - on the doorstep literally. Staff are friendly and bar cosy.Beds are really comfortable and we got a great nights sleep. Thanks!We had booked early and had a very good deal - pity it did not include breakfast though.

The room was extremely comfortable, new, clean and high tech. The most important thing to us however was yhe bed. It was one of the most luxurious beds I have ever slept in and I have travelled extensively. This routine of staying at the Sofitel London is a must if your lay over is long enough.

The hotel room was wonderful, very clean, very modern. Loved the roomThe hotel itself was quite a walk from the terminal. Maybe should have carts for luggage or something.The only real negative we had was that there was no where to each or drink or room service when we arrived. We would have thought a hotel attached to the airport would have something 24hrs or at least later in th evening.

We stayed here the night before an early flight. It is a luxurous hotel with a tunnel link to T5 so the stay and fly deal was excellent and made getting to our flight so easy. There is a lovely spa and the restaurant is very good. a small but good menu with something for everyone. I would definitely stay again

Good overnight stay, staff are excellent, rooms great ,easy to get to other terminals. Nice touch getting a complimentary drink for being a returning guest. Only comment would be that the bar staff are slow and not particularly friendly. Could not fault reception staff.Will sty again even if not travelling from terminal 5.
"Quick Trip"

This was the end of a 10 day European business trip. So after driving down from Manchester it was very pleasant to check-in, relax in the room and look forward to a nice meal later that evening. This is the 4th or 5th time we have stayed here. It's very convenient, of course, and you pay for that convenience. Paying for internet these days is frustrating and disappointing. They do have a free service, but honestly your 3G phone will be faster. It's clean, new and the check-in/out service is very quick and professional. We had an early morning flight back to the west coast, the following day, and we awoke refreshed and ready to go!

We hae enjoyed the convenience of the location and friendliness of the front office staff for several stays since last quarter of last year! The Vivre restaurant is excellent and the staff is mostly friendly and attentive. Overall, a great hotel to stay for stopovers but it is rather pricey when the lowest available room rate is not available. When that happens, it makes sense to go into London unless you have an early departure the next day.

Excellent, excellent, excellent.The staff were brilliant. There was no-one in the queue before us to check in, however we were asked to move a few yards to another desk that was just opened up, and we were checked in there.

Excellent, if pricey, choice, particularly if you are flying out of Terminal Five (BA, Iberia) and/or have an early departure. You can trolley your bags to at least near the reception area, which is about a ten-minute walk from the terminal itself. Less expensive alternative to the hotel options is a good Italian restaurant in the departures level of Terminal Five which also does carryout. Courteous, helpful and very professional service; beautiful design throughout.
