"Overnighter"

The hotel is what it is, its clean its basic and its warm, stayed there on a potential uni trip with my daughter and would stay there again if the need arose, its fine for an overnight stay and breakfast was cheap to.

The Hotel suited my needs as an one night stop. I was surprised that the cap park was charged at £5.00 for a 24 hour stay, which was not highlighted at the time of booking.I was more surprised that the WiFi was chargeable at £9.00 for 24 hours in this era of Free WiFi access every where and that it was only available in the reception area!!!Otherwise it was clean and the Continental breakfast was OK at £4.50.

Stayed here for two nights in a prebooked double room, with a different friend each night. Reception messed up reservation details at booking/check in and was spoken to disgustingly by the receptionist on duty during the night due to their incompetence at logging details - humiliated in front of other guests when we were coming back after a night out and then made to pay for a second room before EITHER of us were allowed to go upstairs. Same guy did exactly the same thing the next night although not to anyone else - felt as if I was being singled out for no reason which is unacceptable.Dreadful unmanaged noise problem - amusing they are concerned with who they let in yet do nothing to manage the guests they already have. Not enough towels or soap in the room (1 for a 2 person booking) and was refused a dry towel on my second morning because I'd 'had what you were supposed to'.So just be aware you might be called a liar, tramp or pikey if you stay here!

Booked 1 night as we were going to a nightclub in Southampton, meant both of us could have a drink and not worry about driving. The hotel was as I expected basic, but clean, in a good location for where we were going. Parking cost £5 something I was not aware of, but not an issue, we made use of leaving the car there while we went round the shops the next day. Could probably need an extra pillow - 1 is not enough for most people.

"Excellent Stay"

Very clean room, with a very good bed.Modern room, very clean, with all you could want from a budget hotel, you're not paying luxury money so don't expect a luxury room.Would stay at this hotel again, great location for the Cruise docks.All i would say it superb, keep providing a good clean hotel room for a good price.Would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

"One Night Stay"

A no nonsence no thrills hotel, which while was suitable for a night stop over for a business meeting, not somewhere I would stay with my with my wife. Great value, I stayed at the hotel, because although I only live in Chandlers Ford which is only five or so miles out from the city centre, the cost of the stay was less than I would have paid for a taxi into the town and back out.

Stayed one night with my wife and 9 year old daughter. Can not fault the hotel at the price.Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. Room mathematically perfect, just big enough for three. Receptionist helpful and friendly.

"Nice room, terrible breakfast."

Rooms are basic but ok, without a proper bathroom. My main complaint would be the breakfast, very limited selection and and bread or croissants were stale. Would be better of going to the McDonalds next to the hotel!

Needed somewhere to stay overnight during the Xmas holiday as our son's house was under repair. It suited our needs and allowed for our dog to stay..Nothing else required by us except parking has to be paid for, not included in price!

I found this hotel to be be ery clean, the staff courteous and nothing was too much for them. The only downside I found to this hotel was having a bunk bed over e top of me. Although saying that it is a budget hotel and aimed at people with young children in mind. It certainly won't stop me in the future from staying here and was good value for money. It's just a shame it doesn't have a restaurant and only serves continental breakfast.Value for money all round!

Real value for the cost, this hotel is clean, gives a friendly welcome, excellent bed, linen etc. Room has a powerful shower. Pretty much all I need from a hotel room. All I would pay more for is kettle & coffee in the morning.
