"Is it a Accor Hotel?"
20th May 2011, drgankt
There is no Pullman, Sofitel or Mercue, so being an Accor member, I decided for Ibis but to my dismay, it was an unpleasant eperience for a night stay which was supposed for 3 nights in Wuhan. We moved the next morning as hardly had a good sleep. Someone from Accor should visit the hotel and check on their pillows, rooms, dining hall and even the surrounding. The Pillows are so old that they are flat and the rubber inside the Pillows broken into pieces...One good thing though...the bathroom is well cleaned.
"Good value"
8th December 2010, lostonplanetearth, Xiamen, China
We only stayed overnight between a 3 Gorges trip and a flight to Xiamen. Ibis is Ibis and the rooms here are a little bigger than normal. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. It also had internet access. The staff spoke a little English and were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fine for the price. If you want a great meal close by, head out of the door and turn left. Go across the road and past the soldiers on sentry duty at some military place. The first restaurant you come to, about 70 metres from the hotel on the left, is a great family run affair. Try the eggplant and bean dish or the chicken and celery.
