The room was comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. I had requested a particular room in advance but on arrival was told it had been given to someone else which was a little disappointing, however the room I had was fine

Not that 'accessible' for people with a disability

I'm a wheelchair user and I stayed from 10th April to 16th April. Despite the website advertising the hotel is accessible by wheelchair, I found it wasn't. The only way in or out of the hotel was via the road where the cars come in which is a steep slope and very difficult to get up in a wheelchair. There is a gated entrance which leads out to the main road on the flat, but this is kept locked and requires staff to open it. I was told if I call the hotel when returning this way, someone would come and meet me to unlock the gate. I tried this on a few occasions and there was no answer from the hotel. When I pushed myself round to the sloped road entrance and spoke to the lady on reception about this, she told me she knew nothing of the gated entrance and didn't know where the key way. In my room, the disabled bathroom had a slippery floor when wet. There was a sticker on the wall saying there were bath-mats available on request, but when I went down to reception to ask for one (no phone in the room) I was told there weren't any and they gave me a bunch of towels to put on the floor instead.

Great stay for a gig at the arena, considering I only booked it the week before I was amazed that we could get in. I did ask for our 2 rooms to be next door but we were in 2 different corridors

We stopped at the Ibis Budget hotel with friends, when we came to see Take That on 14th April (birthday treat for my wife) Whilst this is sold as a 2 star budget hotel, it does not do it justice, Marco and the whole his team bent over backwards to meet all your needs The hotel was clean, our room whilst small was fine, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast (continental) was spot on. Add to this, its location to Sheffield Arena (5 min walk) and loads of restaurants just as close, made this an excellent choice Would we come back - 100% yes Well done Marco John and Angie

Clean but basic room , very comfortable bed. As a solo female attending a concert I felt very safe and happy the arena was a 2 minute walk away
