« Best stay in town »

All the facilities a business hotel needs, a nice mall close by if you want to try some different dining options. Well positioned, well priced, one of the best options in Kuwait City. Breakfast also included and the wi.fi is nice and fast.

« Good place »

Good place in a perfect location. The staff at the front office and the management is pretty good. I would like improvement in the restaurant staff which is not upto the standard expected of an Accor group hotel. Strangely this is the first time I have seen this in Ibis Sharq . But kudos to the Manager and the front office team who took cognizance of this and promised that it will not happen again.

« Disappointed »

Check in was quick and easy. Discovered a leak in the pipes behind the sink--when water was turned on, water dripped all over the floor. A maintenance man was sent to fix the problem. After some time, I was told I could change my room. No upgrade (or any comp) was offered for the inconvenience was offered. Mattress (from a different room) and room service was left in the hallway for too long a time. Breakfast was good and kitchen staff was great! I have stayed at Ibis hotels in the past--so I know what to expect. I am not a high maintenance traveler and the basics are fine with me. With that said, I was disappointed in this ibis hotel.

« Ibis Hotel , Sharq »

A decent enough hotel to stay in. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable and warm. The shower was amazing. The restaurant was quite stark and utilitarian. Better off eating out.there are a wide variety of cuisines to choose from, all within a short taxi ride or drive.

« A good place to stay for a business trip »

It's like a mini-4stars hotel..small, clean, very comfortable, and I am glad that all things that I need are there, can be made available and assisted by approachable staff. It's near to many interesting places to visit in Kuwait City..however, the 41 degree temperature really made me keep on thinking of the mini room that I was occupying the moment I stepped into the heat for business meetings. Breakfast is simple yet very interesting. Surprisingly I love the vanilla butter cake ( I think it's a butter cake )..and couscous. I don't mind eating the same items for a few days. I have taken the photos of the food that I have eaten..they're really nice...and I love them. May be I was in a good mood in Kuwait after a great stay in Dubai..and I really enjoyed my 2-night stay at Ibis Sharq Kuwait. Thank you for the great services provided!

« Nice hotel in Kuwait »

Located pretty central in Kuwait it is a very nice hotel with very friendly staff. Also the food in the restaurant is pretty good. And the pricing is really reasonable - I would go there again if I am in Kuwait next time.

« Nice place for business »

I spent there some days and I enjoyed the hospitality and nice food there. It is also located in a certain not busy area so you can also have a good rest I stay always in this hotel if I come in Kuwait

« Not bad »

Good location and OK infrastructure and 24h restaurant. Good front desk and OK housekeeping. Minimalist but quite good. Downsides: bad car service (expensive and unhelpful) and no printer in business center.

« Not satisfied »

Not worth the money. Very expensive hotel! Room was not clean, Chips on the floor Hair in the bathroom Breakfast NOT included in the rate and expensive Staff are kind and helpful Don't use the hotel Taxi. It's 3 times more expensive than normal taxi passing outside.

« Good value for money »

Location (middle of the city).. Clean and organized .. Friendly staff .. Easiness & quickness of check in and out .. although the rooms are a bit small, but it is till one of the best hotels i tried in kuwait, as most of other hotels are quite old and low standard. i like the modern out fit of the hotel and its rooms.

« Great until day two »

I don't expect a lot from an Ibis, it is after all a budget hotel. However when my towels were swapped out they were replaced with threadbare torn old things that should've been binned about twenty uses earlier. The entire length of the sides were frayed and torn. I then noticed, as now I was looking, that the pillowcases were also holed and threadbare despite this being the 'new bedding system' I will stay again as previous stays have been ok but if it happens again I'll never go back

« Benchmark for a reasonably priced hotel »

A cozy, clean hotel with adequate rooms. The room would probably have been a trifle small with 2 people and baggage but it was quite sufficient for 1 person. The bed was great and the bathroom reasonably sized and adequate. What one would expect from an Ibis. Moreover, the room was on the 18th floor with stunning views. Had a very good check in and check out experience. THe staff were friendly and very courteous. A couple of issues: Sounds of dripping water were continuous ( probably the air conditioning condensate ). Something should be done about this as it affects the total serenity of the room. The flow through the wash basin tap wasn't good. The water came out with spurts of air and it made washing a bit inconvenient. The price of the water bottle vending machine was 3 times the retail price and 6 times the super market price. I don't think this is justified.
