"good value, great location, and smart hotel"

Great value for central location with excellent transport links.Lovely views across the city from window. Free secure left luagge service. Take earplugs as the city bell chimes are quite loud or request a quiet room. Room was a good size with comfortable bed with nicely pressed sheets. Staff friendly and helpful during my stay. Free paper. Location is excellent for sightseeing, shopping, nightlife and the arts. Highly recomended for city break. Look forward to returning.

This hotel is absolutely fine. I paid £29 for a room, it was clean and pleasant, good location. Got a quiet room on the top floor. Bar was open late which was good when I got back from my event. Only criticism is that housekeeping were very noisy in the morning, still it was 9.30 so I can't really complain!

"Nice hotel good location"

The hotel is a good example of the Ibis brand, good staff and a very good location for the city centre attractions. Also there is public parking just a few metres away and the hotle offers a discount. We enjoyed our stay, and we will come back. Thanks

"a good hotel"

Most of the things about this hotel are excellent l but this is the the second time I have stayed there and each time the Internet Service was down, not good. Staff tried to remedy the problem but without success. I also feel the cost of the internet service is very high as you can walk to a restaurant 100 yards away and it is free.

me and my wife stayed at his hotel in Dec for my birthday, the room was clean and very basic only 5 channels on the tv and only 2 tea bags and 2 coffee's, had to ask for more, DONT i say Dont buy the breakfast, what a waist of many 1 staff feeding 128 people it was very bad, only scrabbled eggs, beans sausage and baccon, but you only get 2 items because they run out and the poor girl working there had to keep making more due to it only being herself working there, again waist of money

"Great Location for gigs in Nottingham"

The hotel staff as always at Ibis hotels were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. We would definitely stay there again. My only criticism was the lifts were dirty with post night out debris and this was at 11am so no real excuse.

This hotel is extremely clean; discount is given at the car park opposite, fantastic location. Couldn’t be better for shopping, nights out, days out. Would and have recommended to all and have stayed countless times, wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Faultless.

"Good choice to stay in Nottingham"

Good location in city center. If you like ibis, this is it.No WiFi, and internet access on the ground floor is not free. Plus is teapot in the room (haven't seen it in other countries). Plus is Tesco close to the building.

"IBIS Nottingham"

Good budget hotel. Rooms were exactly what you would expect from an IBIS, functional but clean. The curtains were a bit damaged but there were blinds behind so sleep was not affected. There is no air conditioning but it was not unduly hot. we could have done with a small fridge. The location is great. It is yards from the centre, restaurants etc but it is still quiet. Staff were helpful and friendly. Ideal for a short stay.

"Good for City Centre"

For short city centre stopover, this hotel was ideal. Breakfast is excellent value, fresh and plentiful. Well located for city centre and transport links. The staff were extremely pleasant and well trained witha focus on service.

"One weakness is enough"

Perfectly adequate hotel of its type, good value, very pleasant front of house. But no free wifi in public spaces without purchase from bar - very mean, and sufficient, in a competitive market, to send the public (me) elsewhere in future. I can see the point of keeping freeloaders out of the bar, but I was travelling with family, had already paid the bill in advance, and was clearly not one of those at whom the rule is aimed. But no flexibility shown. So, no more Ibis for me or mine. Lots of other choices.

Management responseThanks for your comments, Unfortunatley due to our current contract with our Wifi service provider we are unable to offer free Wifi, We have launched a promotion where if you spend £2 at the bar then we give you 1 hour free wifi to check emails etc (normal price £4 for 1 hour wifi).
