"Victory day in Vienna"

Hotel very well positioned, close to metro station line 1 (U1), at 2 stations from downtown. Also close to boat station to Bratslavia. People in the reception are very nice, open, attentious and happy. Rooms are quite ok, and breakfast at right level, to the price. Just close you have a nice restaurant to have some fast meals (Vapiano) where you can have self service pizas, salads and pasta. The hotel has also a restaurant but we did not use it.

"Romantic and shopping stay in Vienna"

We had very nice stay in the City Novotel in Vienna. We spent romantic dinner in hotel restaurant with excellent food and wine, with kind service. The hotel is situated very close by City center where you can do amazing shopping and of course very nice sightseeing of historical places. We know that we will definetely come back to enjoy Vienna and City Novotel.

"Great location"

The location of the hotel is great. About 15 to 20 mins walking distance to the Stephen's Catedral. There's an underground station right behind the hotel providing easy access to Vienna city.The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had a nice spread and is of good quality. Kids eat free too!

"Nice hotel"

24th January 2012

The hotel is located in a very safe area, right across the bridge that connects it to the centre and the old town. The room (located in the 6th floor) was spacious and modern and the bed was really big. We found a free parking place on the streets next to the hotel. Breakfast was really tasty. You may order hot food (eggs, sausages etc) from the cook. In 2 mornings out of 4 the cleaning lady came at 8.30 and entered in the room, although we were not ready to leave.

We love staying at this hotel. Great service (love the Nesspresso and the fresh fruit in the room), good size room, clean, comforatble, all the amenities, fantastic breakfast, a 10-minute walk to the airport bus, a 10 minute walk to the centre of the city, friendly staff. Best Accor hotel I've ever stayed!!

Everything was great, location perfect . We can highly recomand this hotel to our friends!We were close to Prater and to the Stephan's Dom as well. Staff were very helpfull and service good.The restaurant shall be bit larger as in the morning can be crowded.

"good hotel at ood location"

Good location, very clean, helpful staff,. Standard novotel facilities: no surprises but evrything handy and comfortable. Only con: quite expensive (17 euros) breakfast. A second con is the Nvotel 250 characteres minimum of the review: if one gives a clear, orientative review in 200 charactrers, that should be OK!

"Nice hotel, super location"

Service was perfect, very friendly staff, location just 5 minutes walk from center of Vienna, the breakfast was super, room was nice and clean, however; when travelling with teenagers order an extra room, as sofabed was really bad.

"Be aware when leaving early in the morning"

Well, although I really enjoy staying at hotels managed by Accorhotels group all the time I really didnt enjoy my last stay in Novotel Wien City at this time. Sorry, I really didnt. I wanted to leave the hotel very early in the morning caused my early flight from Vienna airport. When leaving the hotel someone locked all doors without leaving a notice with an emergency no. I should call to in order to check out. Is it usual? Is this customer service? Well, I dont think so. I was acctually prepared to call police when staying in front of empty reception for about 30 minutes and wondering about my flight. I would suggest their manager to explain the receptionist that he has to be even present or making sure to leave a notice that he is going for a security check that takes 30 minutes or evenmore. I guess he went to nap and he didnt wanted for some ot the unknown reason tell the truth. I find this very childish and its customer service poor.

"Nice and family friendly hotel near to the historical city center"

We had a very nice time in this hotel. The staff was very helpful to find solutions. The room was clean and very quiet. The food at the restaurant was good and the service fine.I recommand it!

"Good Location, clean rooms , good price/quality"

First time in this hotel, good staff service, nice rooms, overall a good deal considering the location: you’re 2 minutes away from the first district in Vienna. The free Internet is a plus, although it wasn’t in wi-fi, but with a LAN cable…
