"Exceptional Service"

The Ibis Bilbao Centro is representative of the Ibis chain of hotels; a good, clean, well-managed hotel at a good price. We booked for three nights and unexpectedly got the three night discount so our total cost was even less. At the Centro, however, the service was very good. We had an early train to catch and were hoping to have a quick coffee and roll before we left. Although we were checking out 15 minutes before the breakfast buffet was scheduled to open, they opened it anyway. We had a quick feast which kept us going all day.

I stayed in the Ibis Bilbao for 3 nights. We were 4 girls. Location of hotel is super. Staff v ery accommodating and friendly. Rooms a little small when using pull-down bed. Breakfast good. Hotel and rooms very clean.

Great value for money hotel. Very friendly reception staff who were very willing to help with restaurants etc. parking on site and good location. Would stay again although not terribly in love with Bilbao.

Good clean rooms. Service from staff was very good with no problem swith foreign language.Car parlking and wifi had to be paid for at daily rates and it would be nice if it were free.Cafe/Restaurant had limited menu and could offer better meals and choice. The service for breakfast was excellant and choice at breakfast was good.

Within walking distance to main attractions of the city (i.e. Guggenheim Museum).Has got its own car park for E6.00 for 24 hrs in the basement.Very convenient for city breaks or businness, clean and good service spacious and modern rooms in tipical Ibis style.Excellent breakfast with local products.

Ok location, but few good restaurants in the area. Beds are way to hard. Elevator was not working two out of three days. Wifi is to be bought at reasonable 5 euro per day, but can only be used by one unit...

This is a superb hotel. It is spotlessly clean, has excellent service, is in the heart of the city, great breakfasts and a secure underground car park. Bilbao is a wonderful city to visit with many unexpected delights, the Guggenheim is worth a visit if only for the building itself. The bars and restaurants are great and the nightlife stunning.

A very good hotel at a good price. Location was good as we could walk to Guggenheim in 20 minutes and could find plenty of places to eat nearby. Buffet breakfast was good value and staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Having a bar open for drinks and snacks was useful too. Very impressed and would use this hotel again.

We arrived at this hotel for an overnight stop after arriving in Spain via Brittany Ferries.This hotel is very central & easy to find with the help of sat nav & good street signs.Bilbao is totally walkable from the hotel.. Close to restaurants and bars and all the sights.. Clean & good value. Great that there is a car park.. Staff very polite and helpful. Would have scored higher but didn't sleep too well due to noise in the street over night as there was a big football match on the day we stayed.

I reserveid a double and a single room. In the double room there was a double bed and a surprising second bed. It would be better if the double rooms had either a double bed and a standard single bed or two single beds

Awful view from the room - the back of some shed, but otherwise the room was good. Breakfast was not very special - more the sort of thing you expect at a cheap hotel. Excellent location at the centre of town.
