"Excellent Hotel"

Hotel is excellent. Its location is near Marmara Sea. Its cleanliness, food (breakfast) and services are all excellent.

My stay was very nice, the service was perfect and Staff was really gentle, kind an disposable on giving help. This is really the better staff that I've met before.The only problem is the position. It takes very long time to go from the CNR to this hotel and from the hotel to Sultanamet. This is a traffic problem. There is also a monorail that connects CNR with Sultanamet but I cannot use it to go to the hotel because the railway station is too far.There should be some quicker way to connect this hotel to this monorail.

It situated in between the Sultanahmet and the Airport. Room were good and staff are helpful and friendly. They have health club and pool. It is a very safe place. They have free shuttle services to main attractions (0930,1030,1240,1530,1730 and 1900 hrs) and return as late as 2300 hrs. Yellow taxis are also parked at hotel. All these made our stay very comfortable. I think it is a best bet for a person new to the city.

I had a very great time and enjoy my stay and I strongly recommend anyone to stay there. The food and the service was excellent. The location is excellent, I was attending a trade show which the exhibition centre was located 15 min drive from the hotel.
"Shame about the Building Site next door"

Hotel up to usual Novotel standards. Restaurant is excellent with friendly and efficient staff. The reception staff were very patient and helpful. Rooms are clean and neat. The only problem was the building site next door, where the lake used to be. 7.30am start for the JCBs was lots of fun. Demand a room on the other side of the hotel if you are booking here.
"Excellent Front Desk Staff, Nice Shuttle Service. Bad Location"

Front desk staff were among the best we have met internationally. however, two things bothered us, the location of the hotel which is sandwiched between highways, i.e. you can NOT walk out anywhere of the hotel, that was resolved by shuttle service to interesting locations, the other thing that bothered us, was room cleanliness, daily wasn't performed at acceptable rate which meant various complaints to which they have responded favourably.

The hotel was nice.The service was very good and the staff kindly and helpfull. During the period that we stayed at the hotel, my girlfriend celebrate 26 years old. They surpised us in a very pleasant way. They let us in the room , a delicious chocolate cake with a small candle and . When we come back in the room in the evening , we find out the mini cake with a firework and a candle in it.The negative part: Although i am an A-club special guest of Accor hotels,i received a second floor partly see-view room with a big hole (hotel,mall) in front of my window.:(

The location was not the best and the footpath to the tram was very dangerous. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and there is a shuttle service to Sultanahmet and other locations. The rooms were good and they were cleaned on a daily basis. The staff were very informative and helpful.

clean, new, but very bad location between a motorway and a no man's land. ...Impossible to walk anywhere from the hotel, you will need a taxi even to visit the shopping center located very close by.

Stayed at Novotel Istanbul on a recent business trip. 15 minute taxi ride from the airport, nice waterfront setting, but its across a busy highway from the park and walkway which borders the sea. It's too bad there is no pedestrian overpass nearby. The hotel itself was fine, staff was quite helpful and very friendly. They provide a free shuttle to Blue Mosque area, which is only about 10 minutes away.
"Good return for money"

I usually stay at Ibis Hotel for short stays when travelling around Europe. This time I decided to spend a bit more to get some quality and I can say I got a very good return for the money spent. It's quite close to Ataturk Airport and minutes from city center and some shopping malls, to where the hotel offers a shuttle service. The restaurant is fantastic, service level above avarage and rooms are decent.

The Novotel is conveniently located halfway between the airport and the city meaning quick taxi trips. The hotel is comfortable, well kept and the personnel is attentionate without being oppressive. The restaurant is less fantastic but there is a wonderful fish restaurant nearby.
