"You'll not be disappointed by this Hotel..."

... we never have. Not by any Novotel we have stayed in anyway. ( Ibis as well) The added bonus of the Pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and exercise room, Made the stay extra specail. We always ate out so never had the expensive breakfast menu. But this didnt spoil the stay we had there.

"Novotel Cardiff"

We have been staying in Novotel Hotels for the past 5 years on a regular basis. They offer great value for money and an efficient, friendly service. We particularly like the spa area and going for a relaxing swim in the morning before enjoying a hearty english breakfast. I would recommend the Novotel in Cardiff to anyone visiting the City or their kids at University.

"comfortable stylish hotel"

Stayed here before but this time in an executive room. It is more spacious and just looks that little bit better. Wifi work fine, watched a movie and had a good night's sleep. What more does a bussiness traveler need. Parking at £12 is a bit steep though...

"Leisure break"

We wanted to visit Cardiff for a 3 day leisure break and chose this hotel as the location looked ideal just outside of the city. From the moment we arrived to when we left we were very impressed with the friendly atmosphere and level of service. The restaurant food was excellent. We usually stay in Accor group hotels both in the UK and mainland Europe and this is one of the better ones. We will be going to Cardiff again in the summer and will choose this hotel again.

"Great value"

My son and I stayed for one night and we had a great time. Pool was lovely and warm, location was 5 minutes into town (shopping) and 15 min walk to the Bay and the Techniquest Museum - which was brilliant! Room was large, clean - everything you would expect.

"Business trip Novotel Cardiff Centre"

OK hotel, good value for the £60 i paid, not sure i would pay more. On the positive, the car parking is easy and secure, the architecture, combining an old building into the new is impressive, pool & sauna, food and bar service. On the negative, the checkin at reception took ages, no staff there until a queue built up, got room card which didnt work in room so had to lug bags back down to get it recut. Bedroom was nothing special, bathroom was nice. Gym was a washout, too small! weights room has 6 pieces of equipment so no chance of getting ion there. Saying this i would use again for the money but preffered the Mercure up the road

In regard to the Leisure facilities, i am sorry that you felt that the size of the gym was too small. We have 2 gyms at the hotel that incorporate the comprehensive Resistance gym but also a 14 station Cardio gym. I am pleased that you found the swimming pool, sauna, bar and food impressive though. I have stayed at the Novotel Cardiff on four occasions and have received excellent service every time! The hotel is very reasonably priced and the extra leisure facilities, all included in the room price, make it much better value than similar hotels in the centre of Cardiff.

Always stay here as the location is perfect for Cardiff city or Cardiff Bay. Hotel is always clean, warm, staff friendly and very helpful, and there is a fantastic leisure complex within the hotel. Looking forward to my next visit.

"Would most certainly recommend to others"

This is the first time we have stayed in the Cardiff Novotel having booked for a party of 6 for a weekend break. Hotel staff were very accomodating and went out of their way to offer every possible assistance. Would recommend that you have breakfast at the Hotel but remember to book it at the same time you make the reservation as it will be cheaper Rooms clean and all the hotel areas equally clean will be returning.

"Helpful staff make for enjoyable stay"

The staff at the hotel were friendly from the moment of checking in to the time we checked out. We did encounter a small problem with our room, but this was rsolved quickly with a call to reception. A complimentary drink at the bar helped us to forget this and the staff were very helpful with directions and suggestions as to where to eat etc.
