As I would expect for a typical Ibus hotel. Well and truly satisfied. Only let done was that sometimes, there were periods there were no staff, day and night, so it was the case to shout out for some service. Apart from that, everything else is typically Ibis.

Very good location of the hotel. Easy access. Very kind reception and friendlyness of the staff. Very convenient (two rooms) apartment with the view on Parliament from balcony . Wide selection of dishes in the restaurant. Carpets and walls needs to be renovated

The hotel is very good, the average of all Ibis hotels. The problems faced were that people smoking even in the non-smoking areas; and the internet connection is poor, one has to constantly reconnect.

I'm a big fan of the ibis brand, however, this hotel was very poor. The room was in need of smartening up, the bathroom was smelly and again needed more maintenance. I was charged on check in, when I queried this I was told my room wasn't prepaid despite my booking confirmation email saying it was, nevertheless I paid up and when checked my bank when home and I had already paid, so ended up paying twice and I'm still looking to get this resolved. Also I had to insist on my Accor Silver Status welcome drink, and the person on the reception desk was reluctant to allow this. Sadly very disappointing given the usual high standards of ibis and Accor Hotels.
Dear Mr. James N, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Ibis Palatul Parlamentului. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and for that please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. We are taking into consideration seriously your opinion about weaknesses of the room and we are going to focus to improve the cleaning standards on one side and on the other side to better train the reception staff in order to apply the “le club silver card holder benefits” and to be more organized. Our front office manager will contact you directly in order to resolve, as quick as possible, the inconvenient with the prepaid transaction. Thank you for showing us the points to improve and we hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Sincerely, Alina Rapan Deputy General Manager Ibis Palatul Parlamentului
Din't know that my breakfast was not included and was told I had to pay. Fine, put it on my bill or I'll pay it before I leave for the days excursions. Oh no! You have to pay it now, I did not bring money to breakfast. The dining room was closed off and and I didn't know how to get out and the waiter was not helping. Repeatedly "you have to pay for your breakfast". Finally I called the manager but this is no way to treat guests. I was not a vagrant from the street but that was how I was treated.

I read the review that the hotel was opposite the big white house. So I thought it would be at the bottom the road that leads to the big white house. So imagine my surprised when I got there and found that IBIS was right round the other side. Please Please Please give better directions to their hotel.
Dear Mr.Krimbow, Thank you very much for your kind comments. I am happy to see you found our location to be convenient for your stay, except the fact that is difficult to find the location. I will address the problem to the top management and I am sure we will find a way to direct our guest in a easy and clear way to our hotel. We are looking forward to welcome you back to our hotel for your next visit. Yours sincerely, Anca Galos
Firstly, at the reception I had to wait a lot of time, because both of the 2 receptionists were busy (only one had clients). After a long time I asked them to open the barrier for the private parking because the automatic machine didn't work. They told me that they will ask the security man to open it for us. We were waiting more than 10 minutes because the man was nowhere. After it we went to make the check in, we had 2 rooms booked, but the receptionist told us that one of them is expired because we had to be there one day before. I showed the reservation code and date and they agreed and finally solved the problem. All in all, the check in took about 1 hour. Both of the receptionists were a little bit dizzy. The room was ok, enough clean, spacious and with a great view of the parliament. The breakfast was various and tasty, except the coffee (but the breakfast and also the coffee is much better at Ibis near the railway station Bucharest). The waiter was unperceptive, he took our plates and glasses full of juice without asking. All in all our stay at this hotel was acceptable but next time it's possible to choose the other Ibis from Bucharest which is better. The only problem with that hotel is that the windows are closed and it could not be opened.
Dear Guest, Thank you for choosing our property during your last visit to Bucharest and for your feedback posted on TripAdvisor. I am not happy to read that we did not meet all your expectations, therefore I took all the required measures to fix the staff attitude. We really hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Kind regards, Camelia Adriana Cristea-Bratu Executive Manager
