"3-star experience"

Convenient location for our purpose, but our room and bathroom was old, almost shabby. Sunday 8am, housekeeping walked into our room. Oops.

"Nice place to explore Basel"

We got special deal from Accor hotel which was 50% discount so, it's relatively good bargain. The location is in old city area, close the Rheine river. Tram station is close by, and a lot of tram around. The room is relatively big for Europe, and nice amenities.
"Good Staff/Location hot rooms"

The quality of the staff was very good and the hotel is located on 3 tram routes on the excellent public transport system. The fact that hotels in the city give a free mobility card for use on the system enhances your stay.We were not so keen on the temperature in the rooms at night as their is no Air Con system in the rooms. I found the bed far to hard and this gave rise to back problems. Would expect a 4 star hotel to provide pots of creamer a more then one normal teabag per day.We still enjoyed our stay in this city and would visit again, though I would only use this hotel again if they can supply a suitable bed and install air con.Would recommend only for a short stay (not in Summer).
"Good hotel and close proximity to the old town"

We stayed for a couple of nights over Christmas to see the Christmas Markets. The hotel was located close to tram stops which made it easy to get into the old town. It also has a supermarket and chemist close by, making it easy to pick up those forgotten items. A kettle is provided and the room was clean. We also like to travel with our cat so it was nice that they accepted pets.Only criticism would be that there is a club/disco next door which could get a little loud at times, however it didn't bother us.
