Location quite good but renovation

The location is quite good, the rooms are fairly big but we were hoping to have a comfy chair that was in the photo of the room on the website & there was only one normal chair in the room. The room was clean, but there was extensive renovation work going on & we would have liked to know that before we booked because the cost of the room wasn't worth it considering the disruption & we would have gone elsewhere. We were surprised there was no complementary bottle of water in the room.

Comfortable. The hotel was almost empty on a Saturday night so I got upgraded to a nice suite. The staff were excellent. Like many Mercure hotels in France, the restaurant was closed over the weekend, but there are restaurants and fast food outlets nearby. Breakfast was adequate. I would stay here again.

The hotel is easy to locate and the parking is great. Inside, the hotel is extremely clean and comfortable. The room was in great condition, as was the bathroom, and the air-conditioning functioned very well. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space in the room. The bar and dining areas were very functional and we enjoyed a great evening meal and good breakfast there.

If you're not an EU citizen or if there are non-EU citizens in your group, I highly recommend you to avoid this hotel because you will be asked to fill lengthy forms, which is not the case in other hotels.

Horrid dont pay for premium room.

If this was a premium why did the air conditioner cover keep falling off also the pockmarks on headboard where hidden by standing the pillows up, the curtain had fallen also the shower in the bathroom was dirty and did not work properly. On the plus side the free drinks were good.
