Satisfied on cleanliness but staffs provide unacceptable service. When we check in, the staff seem know nothing about accor member advantages, when we request late check out, they told me we MUST PAY, when I told them this is one of the member service (surely it is subject to availability, I'm not take it for granted), she told me she has to clarify and reply to me later, but NO response until I call again for the answer. When we checked out, the staff talk to us and work at the same time. nice environment but unhelpful, unfriendly staffs, not a good experience
Stayed for few nights for business trip. Hotel is not new i would say but still maintained ok, i like the club floor for evening unwind and a relax environment. The staffs are friendly and helpful. I also like the greenery surrounded the hotel. It would be better if the hotel could have a small convenient shop as there's quite a distance to walk to the nearest shops nearby. I tried the gym equipment and is well maintained. There is not much option for dinner around the hotel lobby area.
The good. Great service, great position, easy access to subway and parklands and within walking distance of the new OCT precinct. The not so good. House prices for thing like beer and coffee are too high. The bad. The room smelled of smoke, the ash tray on the table probably means this was not the non smoking room I had asked for.
Good: 1) hotel near a local park, quiet surrounding 2) 10 min walk from metro station Bad: 1) poor service in check in/ out, need to wait for a long time for service, but i am the only one waiting in the queue. all staff there were doing their work without any intention to serve customers. 2) poor room maintenance...window curtain fall so easily 3) no advantage as a member booking, at least i can enjoy welcome drink in other mercure/ ibis hotels
The reception service by Carmen Gao was very poor. I passed her the printed confirmation and she told me that she cannot locate the booking. Also, she said that the Reference Number cannot be used for booking. How ridiculous ? Also, she did not know how to distinguish my first name and last name after I passed her the identity card. Should we remove her from the reception staff list ?
the swimming poor was closed and room had a smell and decoration was old. The staff did not know any entertaining around the hotel i.e department store, shopping mall etc. The staff servicing was good. I don't understand why Novotel's decoration was old in Shenzhen and Singapore.

The hotel room is quiet old and smell of humid in the carpet. During our stay, the weather is 10 celcius and the room cannot keep warmth, furthermore the window is old so the cold weather can flow into the room despite we turned off air conditioner. The bed is very tough and the light is not enough. The enter of hotel are difficult to reach if you have luggages and go to hotel by MTR.

the bed or the floor is dirty, there has some small animal, so my foot have some red point after the nigth, my sleep is not good at the night. But the environment is ok, the swimpool is good and the buffet is very good at afternoon or night.

The location is only a distance away from the MTR Terminal, so we can easily travel around shenzhen and took only a few terminal away from some attractions (splendid china, window of the world, etc) I don't really like the fragrant of the body shower, but it's only small matter.
