Stayed one night. Poor signage for lift in car park. No signage for reception. Room was ok and clean. Found half used bottle of pills in room. Breakfast was ok.

Room at 4.30pm was not finished cleaning. So we were compensated with a drink voucher which we appreciated. The cleaning staff were busy that day which can happen.

I have stayed at other Ibis hotels in NZ and overseas but I was utterly disappointed with the 'lack' that Rotorua had compared to other branches. Expected more for the Ibis brand and my recent stay has made me think twice for future travels.

Really good spot, view was amazing and the room was warm, had everything I needed. Late check in was also appreciated a lot. Staff were friendly. I would come back again and I'd also recommend this place to others. Only complaint I'd have is when asking for my GST receipt I had to follow up twice over the phone after my stay to get the receipt.
