"Good Value for money"

Ibis hotel is good value for money in a very expensive city like Geneva. Its placed right opposite the Balaxert shopping complex, which makes it very convenient. Further, the No 10 bus stops right in front of the hotel and therefore getting about is pretty easy. The Same bus can bring you to the hotel from the Airport in 10 mins.Whilst the room was pretty small it had everything you need to have a comfortable night.. Bathroom and toilet were good and extremely clean. Staff was also pretty helpful and customer oriented.Wifi is also available in the room, although you have to log in to authenticate with your password every 24 hours. Speed offered was pretty good. No toiletries are given with the hotel room except soap, so be sure to carry some with you. The breakfast spread offered was not that appealing. Therefore booking without breakfast may be a good option. You can always pay and have breakfast.Overall if you are looking for a short economical stay Ibis is a good option to consider.

"An enjoyable stay"

After booking, the hotel should advise guests - especially first timers - that travel on the no. 10 trolley bus from the airport or the city centre is free - as the hotel issues travel passes when checking in - hence no airport shuttle buses. The trolley bus stops are at the cross roads where the hotel is located - very convenient.Shower, toilet and wash basin (open in room) are small but manageable. Rooms clean, but not much available when wishing to read the newspaper or a book in a comfortable chair.

Rooms are extremely small but very clean.it will get crowded if more than one person is in the room. Very POOR WiFi signal throughout the hotel. Good thing about the hotel is the location. its close to the airport and right across from the shopping center.

Very good prices, average cleanliness, depending on luck...Have stayed in a non-smoking room that was stinking of cigarette smoke, have stayed another time when the smell from the toilet (blocked drains?) was awful....but have also stayed in nice rooms also.Receptionists are awful! No second thought for client time and service.

"Excellent value, great location"

Good price, no frills hotel. Decent size rooms, clean, quiet. Very good location across the road from the Balexert shopping centre. On bus line 10 running from airport to centre of Geneva, 5min walk to tram linking Geneva to CERN. Great for business trips.

"Pretty Good"

The hotel was pretty good. I mainly have two negative comments: It was not so easy log on to the wifi internet each time you had to input a code.And the age of the towels, they looked very old.I also think that the price of the hotel is a bit too high.

Hotel is nice area, convenience loaction, near airport only 5mins. Transportation is free access to city, compare the price and quality, it's cheaper. Negative thing is:" the way design the bathroom is easy spilling the water while you taked the shower." except it, the hotel is excellent.

- Rooms are without ventilation, windows are locked and cant be opened, air conditioning is non existent- ETAP Hotel advertises free wifi, but guests realize at the time of checkin that the working wifi is a paid one. My free wifi did not work as I never received the code on my mobile phone via sms even after several attemps, hotel reception was completely unwilling to help and did not follow up at all-Carpets in the room and lobby are dirty-Upper bunk bed was never laid out and we had to lay the bedsheet ourselves

it is close to the airport and is clean, no phone in the room. Free wi-fi requires that you have a local phone as the password for the wi-fi is SMS'd to you. So if you do not have a phone you must pay 10 Franks to get FREE wi-fiRoom is tiny and like a college dorm with bunk beds. The toilet so small you can not turn around inside.

"Basic Clean Accomodation"

This is very basic but clean and comfortable accommodation. There are no phones in the room nor climate control - which are the major negatives. Other than that, the rooms are very well maintained and extremely clean. Service was excellent.High speed Internet was provided, as well as a free bus pass. The hotel is right across the street from a large mall with plenty of diverse shopping and restaurants. It is easy to get to using a bus (#10) and very close to the airport. There is no charge for the bus from the airport. I highly recommend that you get the breakfast buffet, which costs Fr.11.
