"Norwegian in Le Mans"
20th February 2012, Oslo, Norway
I am very pleased with my stay in the hotel. Had a room looking in to the parking at the back side, and that is good, because then it is possible to have the window open at night. Very quiet hotel, good insulated so there is no noise from the neighbour. Service at the desk is 24/7 and thats very good with so nice counter staff.
"Lovely rooms - Worst breakfast ever"
17th September 2011, Dublin, Ireland
I stayed in the hotel with my wife. We had booked a superior room which was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We had also booked breakfast in the hotel. When we arrived in the breakfast room at 0845 there was not a single clean table in the room. We had to clear and set our own table. It is a self service breakfast, however there was very little to eat as most of the breakfast trays were empty. As I'm a coeliac, breakfast tends to be a difficult meal to get anything substantial to start the day. The hotel had no gluten free bread nor could they tell me whether any of the products they had on offer were gluten free. When I asked the question the staff member simply said he was looking into it and then he disappeared into the kitchen. My breakfast consisted of orange juice and coffee. They didn't even have the facility to boil an egg. It has to be the worst hotel breakfast I have ever had.
"Really like this hotel!"

For the past six years we have used Le Mans as an overnight stop on our return trip from the south of France. This is our second year using the Mercure Centre and I have to say, it is a great hotel.Easily reached from the Autoroute and a short walk into the town centre, the location is ideal. It fronts onto a busy street, but soundproofing is very good. We up-graded to a junior suite which was well appointed and had a large balcony with table and chairs. The bed was very comfortable and a good nights sleep was had by all.The only small issue was that the coffee maker and mini-bar had no power. We only noticed this late in the evening and did not report it. We used the underground car park (€10 extra) which has direct elevator access to the hotel.Looking forward to the next visit to this hotel.
"Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, good service"

I stayed at the Mercure Le Mans for 2 weeks. Everything was perfect except the last day they didn't have any water. They offered to put me up in a different hotel if I wanted to. Everything was fantastic and I would stay here again.Ryan Barker
"a bit disappointed by "privilege room""
9th February 2011, Ville d'Avray
Nice Hotel, Good service by the staff. But just a bit disappointed by the "privelege" room that we booked, expecting to get something "nicer" and with some extras: The room gives a a very "cold" and dark impression due to colours chosen, the access to WiFi is limited (1 hour per day, I think) whereas in other hotels (even other Mercure) it is not, and I am not to sure where we were supposed to look for slippers and for privilege welcome products that were promised in the description when we booked...So very good hotel at the end of the day, but the extra money we paid for a "Privilege" room seems not to have been worth it, and it was a bit disappointing.
