ibis London Earls Court: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Peace in the city"

20th May 2012, ELLESMERE PORT

Ibis Earl's Court is a large, well run hotel offering excellent accommodation and friendly service. The rooms are large, and quieter than one would expect in a city

ibis London Earls Court: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Moonwalks and Football"

17th May 2012, salski1380, Stockport, England

We chose this hotel because it offered good value for the location & it's convenience for the Underground Station at West Brompton.Having booked on line, check in was easy & we were soon in our rooms. They were of a reasonable size, with a decent bathroom. We were pleased to find tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We used the George and Dragon pub on the first floor for pre meal drinks. The prices were reasonable for London/ hotels, and as we found out later in the weekend, the bar food was fine.We didn't have breakfast in the hotel - we always look for local cafes for better value & found them again.Overall, a decent, clean hotel with friendly staff. Just beware of overpriced taxis - we heard one customer say he'd been charged £18 to come to the hotel from Chelsea FC. And that's only a 10 minute walk!

ibis London Earls Court: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis Earls Court / Brompton West"

15th May 2012, Travellerfrequent7, Hastings, United Kingdom

the hotel is well located although to call it Earls Court is not strictly true. Very handy for Easybus service from and to Gatwick and walking distance from South Kensington.Clean, comfortable and good service; all you need.

ibis London Earls Court: 4.0 out of 5 stars "nice rooms same about door key"

11th May 2012

I loved the hotel it was nice and clean BUT the door cards are a nightmare it took me 10 mins before i had to go back down 10 floors to tell the desk and they gave me anothe card and told me to swip it slowly so i went back up 10 floors and tried again but still couldnot open the door so i went back down and told them it wont work so the lady who was very nice followed me back up and she then swiped the card very very very slowly and it worked so it took me about 20-25 mins before i could get in my room so i suggest to any one who stays there to ask a member of staff to open the door for you.

ibis London Earls Court: 5.0 out of 5 stars "GREAT HOTEL, GREAT LOCATION"

10th May 2012, corkgooner, cork

While the hotel is very central , its in a very nice quiete area. Only yards from west brompton station with underground and overground trains on your doorstep. Good sized bedrooms. Very nice bar with good well priced food. The buffet breakfast was also fantastic with a great choice of hot and cold food. Will be back again !

ibis London Earls Court: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Reasonable option"

8th May 2012, madm3001, Sao Paulo, Brazil

The main complain about the hotel is the poor breakfast options. Few fresh fruit, watered hot chocolate. The bedroom was ok, but the door a little noisy. The staff was helpful. The location was close to the subway station. Although, West Brompton (the closest to the hotel) is a marginal station and several times we preferred to leave on Earls Court station (which is 15 min walk away).

ibis London Earls Court: 4.0 out of 5 stars "1st stay at this Ibis."

5th May 2012, RB777, Carmarthen, United Kingdom

Good friendly hotel, reasonably priced, very convenient for the underground and with parking. Will certainly use it again.

ibis London Earls Court: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis Warm Welcome"

1st May 2012, Qdos123, Telford, United Kingdom

I stay regularly as the IBIS and always find it very convenient to the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, particularly as it has great car parking facilities. The staff are always helpful and polite. When eating alone in the bar, you are always made to feel welcome and superbly looked after by the bar staff.

ibis London Earls Court: 4.0 out of 5 stars "ideal position for west london & oxford street"

23rd April 2012, Nuits-Saint-Georges, France

Perfect central west london hotel with a railway or underground station on hand with excellent large parking facility within.Good brasserie and restaurant.

ibis London Earls Court: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great 3 Star hotel in London"

19th April 2012, DaveMunro1, Adelaide, Australia

This hotel was a wonderful experience for us. Staff were great. It is close to underground station which we used for transport. Breakfasts were good and had plenty to choose from. It is definitely not 4 star but all was clean and our room was extremely quiet. Which is rare for a city hotel. If you want elegant meals and porters and mini bars etc do not stay here, but if you want just a comfortable basic room at a good price I can not recomend it highly enough.David Munro.

ibis London Earls Court: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Condom Bible"

14th April 2012, Kilkenny, Ireland

Seven year old daughter found a condom in the bible that was in the draw. Advertise free wireless Internet but fail to tell you it is only in the main foyer or business centre. Breakfast well over priced.you should check the price across the road at the pub. Next time the IBUS.

ibis London Earls Court: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Easter in London"

14th April 2012, SoHFan, Nuneaton, United Kingdom

The hotel met our needs as we were heading to the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday evening and it's on the right side of town. Great to be able to drive there and park the car for the duration of our stay and at £14 a day it wasn't too expensive. When we had a problem the staff were very quick to put things right... and you can't ask for more than that. The bed was comfortable so we had a good nights sleep. The breakfast was good, plenty of choice and plenty of it.There's a very nice Indian Restuarant across the road... great food and good value for money.

ibis London Earls Court: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good Value but needs improvements"

10th April 2012, RaoulDiniz

Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy.Carpets however are in need of a good clean (or rather changed to a contemporary flooring material), room doors tend to slam when closing and are not insulated so noise in corridor can be heard. inside. It is not the best part of town, but the hotel is close enough to Underground station + EasyBus stops in front of hotel with great connection with London Gatwick. All in all it is a good value for money for London.

ibis London Earls Court: 4.0 out of 5 stars "A successful weekend in London"

6th April 2012, Oslo, Norway

We arrived on a Friday afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were bigger than we anticipated. We needed an extra room and this was accommodated at a discount price. The service was friendly and efficient. Let me also add that the hotel breakfast was a huge hit with our sons. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

ibis London Earls Court: 3.0 out of 5 stars "OK"

29th March 2012, Cheltenham, United Kingdom

No real problems. Washbasin waste was blocked. Car park is useful. Fairly handy for West Brompton station on district line. Full breakfast is good but cheaper rates may include only a less substantial second class continental breakfast buffet in the bar. Check.

ibis London Earls Court: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Short stay - excellent location close to underground within 1-2 zones"

ibis London Earls Court: 3.0 out of 5 stars "good value"

ibis London Earls Court: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Why don't Ibis make it in UK"

26th March 2012, BrianKBalatonbereny, Balatonbereny

I general I am a great admirer and frequent user of Ibis and other Accor hotels. In Europe they are generally the best value for money and the best service. In the UK they come nowhere near their European counterparts - staff are nearly always oblivious to customers needs and unfriendly - often to the point of rudeness. I have said this before and I'll say it again - if I had stayed in an Accor Hotel inUK for the first time I think it would be my last time in the chain. Luckily most of my stays are in mainland Europe so I know better. I have been a member of A-Club for many years and the Ibis Frequent Stayer Club before that. Accor management please get your act together in UK before it starts to cost you dearly.

ibis London Earls Court: 1.0 out of 5 stars "Don't stay here if you want to sleep at night!"

25th March 2012, keithamara, cornwall

I stayed in this hotel on 2 separate occasions. The first for one night and then the next week for 2 nights. The first visit I was kept awake from 1am until 5.30am by the people next door talking very loud all night long. I called reception and they said they would send someone but they didn't. On the second visit, I was kept awake til 2am by people moving furniture around above me and the next night by noisy neighbours again. On both these occasions I contacted reception. By the second night I was so furious I went to reception and demanded someone come up with me to stop the people next door making such a noise. Reception lied by insisting they had sent someone up by I know they hadn't. The walls are paper thin in this hotel and the rooms are very shabby. Only stayed there because my Dad was ill in hospital and I had to stay locally. For £100 per night I wished I'd paid a bit extra and stayed elsewhere

ibis London Earls Court: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Trip to see Chelsea play"

22nd March 2012, jim s, Telford, United Kingdom

OK hotel. Ibis are budget, but this was £107 so not so budget. Carpets could do with a clean. Great spot to go to Chelsea
