"Not so dog friendly!!!"

I have stayed at this hotel about six times mainly because i travel from France to Alicante in Spain. Ialways bring my little dog with me she small and very quiet.The hotel advertises that dogs are welcome, the staff are usually ok with me in the cramped bar area to take her in there whilst i have dinner , as was this time until the next morning i went to get a coffee and the very young man who served me said that she could not come in i explained that she was allowed every visit before and the previous night so he relented and let her in. May i remind you that i live in France and DOGS are allowed into any restuarants and bars so i find this very annoying and unfiendly to a customer who spends a lot of time at this hotel.I stay at many hotels in France and never experence problems like this.

room was OK, it was not the first time that we came to this hotel, on average we visite the are two or three times per year, so coming back already several times over the last years should say more than enough,the restaurant concept changed a little compared to last year,(more expensive, but no real increase in quality).

The location is good and the service is of good qaulity, restaurant OK and the posibillityof having your pets with you fine, I recommend this hotel to friends and family.For my return trip to NL I already made my reservation on the night of 3-4 April 2011.
