"fantastic"

great hotel, lovely building, an oasis in a crazy city, ask for a room on first floor with balcony so you can get breakfast from a cafe and have it outside on your veranda (breakfast at the hotel is over 20 euros each).

The hotel is excelent, very comfortable. Good price.I like room where we lived. There were the sitting room and bath on the 1st floor and the bedroom - on the 2nd floor.
"One day in Naples"

This hotel was very comfortable with a good ambiance. The hotel has a spacious court area and you can take your breakfast outdoors. The location of the hotel was not too convenient. You can easily arrange a taxi from the hotel and it is fixed price-mostly 10 euros wherever you go within the hotel vicinity. The concierge was very helpful, but they did not have much information about cruising to nearby cities like Capri and Amalfi.
"Excellent hotel."

Excellent hotel. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Friendly and professional personnel. Lounge manager Stefano can organize any excursion on your wish. On the fringe of a very lively historical center and only 30 min walk to the present city centre (10 min by shuttle).
"Nice and clean, location is a bit dodgy."
2nd September 2011, Adelaide
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's really nice and most importantly clean. It's approximately 1km away from the train station, a bit hard to lug your luggage especially in summer, so better off to catch a cab (only EU9) since the area is a bit dodgy. We were told by local Neapolitan that the place where the hotel is situated is not a very safe place, and the area is filthy too. But overall, my husband and I liked the hotel.
"Great Hotel -"

This hotel was by far the best value for money we experienced on uor business/leidure trip. the room was beautifully appointed, mable floors, comfortable quality bed and pillows, quality amenities, balconies to most rooms overlook delightful old world courtyard. there was a problem with internet access but the staff allowed us to use one of the hotel laptops until the techs could fix the problem. Great service, breakfast diverse and plentiful. Location walking distance to main street. If time permitted we would have stayed longer

Very nice and stylish hotel and close to the centro of Napoli. Clean rooms and very good service and the reception. Stayed one night with my girlfriend. Entrance was always secured by two persons. We felt quite safe in this hotel.
"Nice hotel in the center on Napoli"

Nice hotel - large, well designed rooms, comfortable bed, good restaurant. The restaurant is located in a charming outdoor courtyard. The staff was also professional and went out of their way to help. I plan to stay at this hotel again.

Your hotel is beautiful, your staff was wonderful, rooms were clean, bathroom was a nice size and we loved the balcony. But the surrounding area left much to be desired. Breakfast was included in our reservation. The food selection was good but 2 of the 3 days we were at breakfast the buffet ran out of food and the staff was very slow at replenishing. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
"Stay at Palazzo Caracciolo"

The only drawback of the hotel is the surrounding area at night. One does not feel really safe. It is more reminiscent of destinations in South America than in Europe. Personel was very helpful and professional. Brekfeast was excellent. In terms of "value for money" it can hardly get better.
"Bellissimo Hotel"

A friend recommended this hotel who had previously stayed there. It is a palace, really was and IS. Architecturally interesting where old and new elements are fused together. From the moment you walk through the stunning entrance archway to the walk into your room, you feel its beauty and wonderful artistic touches. I only stayed one night but if I return to Naples this will be my destination. Many of my Neopolitan friends did not know about this place but know about it now and were impressed. I loved everything about this palazzo. The staff, the rooms, the ambiance and the BREAKFAST. Mama mia.
"Hotel Oasis in Naples"

This is a beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms, a friendly and helpful staff, and a very nice restaurant. The conference facilities are also very nice. The only drawback to the hotel is its location. On the one hand, it is a short walk from the historic part of the city, which is lovely and convenient. On the other hand, the neighborhood is not the cleanest or safest. We walked from the train station to the hotel on a Sunday afternoon with our luggage... but next time would take a cab in the interest of safety. The hotel itself, however, is an immaculate oasis, and its entrance attended at all times by what appear to be guards.
"Very nice"

Very nice place to stay for business travel. Stylish, comfortable, helpful staff. Courtyard and bar are beautifully set up - very relaxing, perfect place to meet with clients. My room had a very good desk for working. Fast wireless (I had to pay as an additional service, but it was worth it to have flawless high speed). The location is not perfect, but I had no problem walking to restaurants 7-10 mins away or getting a cab promptly at the hotel.
"Excellent Hotel with outstanding cuisine"

Palazzo Caracciolo is 10-15 minutes walk from Piazza Garibaldi , the station and airport bus .There is a bus stop nearby but the service is in one direction only. The old city is close by,and the main churches and museums are within 20-30 mins walk.Via Carbonara is not elegant and at the moment rubbish strewn, and the hotel is securely guarded.Inside it is an oasis of calm and order with polite and friendly staff. There are few restaurants within walking distance, but plenty of pizzerie. However, this is not a problem because the food in the hotel restaurant is very good indeed:we ate there 4 times in 5 nights, which is unusual for us.The menu is short but the dishes are imaginative, well cooked and presented. The wine list is local to Naples and thus unusual. The wines we tried were first class. Service is also excellent, and the staff knowledgeable.Dinner cost us Euro 90 to 100 for 3 courses (no room left for desert!),with the more expensive wines. The breakfast buffet is equally good although the bacon is not up to English standard. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, though a little short on wardrobe space.A bonus for smokers is a small garden where coffee can be taken in comfort after dinner:something not all Accor hotels provide.Don't be put off by the surroundings:this historic palace has been converted into a top class hotel staffed by very professional and friendly people.
