People were friendly. Service was good. Location little outskirts but close to airport which was a plus. Restaurant people very friendly though not many speak English...!!

ibis Roma Fiera: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis hotel, roma fiera"

29th April 2012, mrhartmac, Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Good location, easy 15 min trip to the airport . Front desk staff very helpful. Was given a nice expresso as we were rushing out the door to airport. W use the Accor hotels as often as possible. This trip, we stayed at a Mercure hotel for 4 nights in Rome and 1 night in Siena. Wish that they would stop charging for Wireless internet.

ibis Roma Fiera: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Mr Odonez comments"

2nd March 2012, Venice, Italy

I recommend this hotel as a good base for a short tourist trip to Rome. Except for the accesibility, the quality/price is very good. Rooms are clean and ample enough and staff amicable. Could be better if prices included breakfast.

ibis Roma Fiera: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Nice hotel"

18th September 2011, Gerrards Cross, United Kingdom

The hotel is a little out of the way, but there are quite good public transport links into Rome, and the staff were helpful in explaining these to us. (Hint: Unless you are Italian, don't even think about driving in Rome!)The hotel was quiet, and the food was good. Internet access was provided, and it proved a good place to use as a base for exploring Rome, whilst keeping costs down and staying in touch with friends.

ibis Roma Fiera: 1.0 out of 5 stars "Bad service."

8th September 2011, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

Free internet in the lobby is not working. I stayed for four days and nobody bothered fixing it.They proposed free internet card for three hours, but I stayed for four days and they refused to give more then one free card!

ibis Roma Fiera: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Far away from everything and bad resturant"

8th September 2011, Caluire et Cuire, France

I stayed in this hotel because I was attending a congress at the nearby more expensive Marriot hotel, otherwise I will not stay in it at any cost. Everything is bad in this hotel, airconditioning programmed to switch off between 9 am and 3 pm???? No internet cards for the whole period of my stay of six days!!!!!The resturant of the hotel is a no go to zone, I asked for a pizza on the first night and they served me what looks and am sure a frozen pizza you get from big supermarkets (is this Italy????)Shuttel service to hotel made me wait 45 minutes though I reserved two hours before!!!!This hotel is far from the center of Rome and far from the airport and is good for nothing unless you have your own car. The is a small nearby supermarket, coffeshop, two pizzarias and an ATM machaine. So am advicing no one to stay.

ibis Roma Fiera: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Clean, but not good location!"

6th September 2011, Hirosaki, Japan

This hotel might be good for people with car, but not for, say, foreigners without having cars availble. It is quite difficult to get to the central area of Rome without car. The service is not necessarily good, honestly speaking, hotel people are not kind at all.

ibis Roma Fiera: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good selection for affordable cost"

25th July 2011

It is the third time I select IBIS hotel. The impression is possitive. The acceptance in the reception was good and friendly, the breakfast was excellent for its price. The hotel was not in city center but it had good facilities for transportaion.

ibis Roma Fiera: 3.0 out of 5 stars "A/C"

12th July 2011, istanbul

We told the receptionist about our A/C is not working, after 3 hours we came back to hotel and told that if the a/c is done, his colleague told us that its fixed but nothing has changed, we opened the windows to get some fresh air, bad bad bad

ibis Roma Fiera: 3.0 out of 5 stars "not good hotel"

28th June 2011, Dubai

Hotel is near to city center, beds are have noise, we request to change our room for bed noise but they told us this is ibis 2003 standard and they change our room because A/C not work but in other room we found bed noise again.very limited Parking and always full.

ibis Roma Fiera: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Money vs. quality great!"

20th June 2011

In this price hotel was great. Friedly staff, clean place. Neibourhood is very quiet, for example pizzerias closes at 11pm. If you want to visit Rome center by public transportation, you need to use bus, train and metro. Some local bus company offered 10eur per one way. 24h touristpass for public transport was 4eur.

ibis Roma Fiera: 2.0 out of 5 stars "No assistance from unhelpful reception staff"

19th June 2011, Bazzer13, London

We stayed at the Ibis Magliana for two nights (We booked 3 Rooms), but we found the hotel reception staff were of minimal help and extremely slow during our stay. The remainder of the hotel was modern, clean, and comfortable, with a good restaurant and friendly restaurant staff. Our problems were that the hotel are supposed to hold train tickets to travel from the nearby (1 mile) train station "Muratella" to Rome, as at the station there is nowhere to obtain a ticket. The hotel does not make this information available to guests.Previous reports have stated that getting to Rome by train is difficult, it is not, It is easy, just take the bus (every 20 mins) hop on the train, (20 mins) hey presto, Roma.We informed the hotel reception (3 times) that we were leaving to go to Civitaveccia to join a cruise ship, and they arranged for us to go to the airport to catch the train (48 Euros), only to find that the train actually comes back to the Muratella train station on its way to Civitaveccia via Rome. This was an absolute waste of money and time, the joke was not appreciated. The hotel needs to put a small notice on the desk for their guests to tell them about the two issues of the local station and the correct way to get to Civitaveccia. We use Accor hotels all the time, but this experience has certainly spoiled our opinion of the Ibis hotels section of the company. We later stayed at the Rome Bologna Mercure hotel on our return to Rome, which was perfect, very helpful and so close to transport links, and attractions, nice area too.

ibis Roma Fiera: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Roma for Brazilians"

13th June 2011, MorcegoZL

The location of the hotel is the big issue for sure, but keep in mind that if you program yourself to use the trains you can save a lot of money by staying there. Also when you arrive in FCO you can take the train and arrive almost in front of the hotel which by taking the bus 23 you stop exactly in front. The problem is the bus usually work in HH:15 and HH:45 and most of the times are late. As a result, is affordable but has the constraints.
