"Clean, quiet, OK for a business visit"
22nd April 2012, Antonio-Lombardo, Paris, France
The hotel is situated at 10-15 minutes walking distance from the (beautiful) Troyes historical city center, therefore not really convenient for enjoying the beauty and charm of the city. OK for a business visit to the area. Underground parking space is available (10 euro/day).People were friendly and professional. Breakfast (not included, expensive) offered a reasonable choice of good quality food and beverage.Room was quiet and clean. The bed wasn't really comfortable, the bathroom was the usual Accor/Ibis "never-used-by-the-designer" style. The overal value for money was OK.
"4 night stay to see relatives"
17th March 2012, Manchester, United Kingdom
Went to visit relatives in Troyes. Hotel is approx 10 minute walk for most restuarants and the centre. Beds comfy but pillows hard. Bathroom like a space pod - beware of the step. Car park pricey but very secure, although if your car is over 1.85 metres tall its not suitable. All staff very friendly and helpful and hotel clean. Happy to stay there again.
"Flying Visit"
5th March 2012, Mougins, France
We used the Ibis Troyes as a stopping off point on our way from Calais to the Cote D'Azur. Very helpful, friendly staff; hotel is very handy for a walk into the beautiful town centre (stretch the legs after a long drive). Plenty of choice for eating locally or in town.Essential requirement for us - not too big a detour off the route and not in the middle of nowhere - excellent choice for us.
"Ibis Troyes"
30th January 2012, Crowthorne
The Ibis hotel is located some 5-10 minutes walk from the town centre. Troyes has numerous restaurants to cater for all tastes. It has a medieval centre with numerous old buildings ... we shall be stopping here again to explore the history of the town.
"IBIS Troyes"
2nd September 2011, Manchester
Excellent location, good value for money and very clean. Underground car park is of great benefit and very reasonably priced. The hotel is very well placed for exploring the City and if, like me you enjoy running, you will find a good straight route out of the hotel and along the river.
"Off street car park"
12th August 2011, Crewe
The hotel is an Ibis, so it has no surprises. This review is to point out that the height restriction on the hotel's secure car park precludes entry for a family car with roof box. It is necessary to park on an adjacent public car park without security. There was no charge overnight and, on our visit, no harm was done. This hotel was suitable and enabled us to break our journey in an interesting town with good restaurants(about 800m walk into the old town).
"A pleasant surprise"
7th August 2011, Bristol
Booked as a stopover hotel on our way to the Rhone Alps. The hotel was clean, the staff were welcoming and helpful. A secure underground garage kept our car safe. Food at the nearby Hippopotamus restaraunt was excellent.
"What a treat"
3rd August 2011, Stafford
Superb location - less than 5 minutes walk into the beautiful city of Troyes. Excellent welcome, fantastically clean room, wonderful breakfast - none of this could be faulted. One downside - like all the hotels we stayed in (including other chains) the pillows were uncomfortable - in this case too hard! But only a minor point and didn't detrect from our stay.
"Perfect hotel for a short break in Troyes"
24th July 2011, dvmurray, Oxford, United Kingdom
Stayed at the Ibis Troyes for on night on our way to Switzerland. If you have stayed at Ibis hotels before then you know what to expect, clean, good sized rooms that are perfect for short stays. The Ibis Troyes was very clean (probably because it's only a few years old), located only a five minute walk from the centre, and has secure parking facilities (priced at €9). I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning an overnight stay or short trip to Troyes.
"Ibis Hotel Troyes Centre"
10th July 2011, East Grinstead
We have stayed here for 1 Saturday night on our way back from holiday in the South of France for many years now. Not only are the rooms very adequate for our needs but we like the "no fuss" element on checking in & out and the fact that there seem to be no late or early check-in restrictions. There is one minor negative, however, and that is that for the last two years running there has been some sort of programming error on the electronic key for the car park and the room itself necessitating a trip back to the check-in desk to get the key redone. After a full days driving on hot French Autoroutes complete with multiple "Bouchons" this is extremely irritating. It won't stop us coming again next year but if it happens again I shall probably have a fit of rage in the hotel foyer!
"Great hotel!"
9th July 2011, hjaeroplane, worthing
clean, friendly staff, good location close to city centre (ten mins walk) and large air conditioned rooms. We really enjoyed our stay here, Troyes is an amazing place to visit. The only small complaint I have was the parking. There isnt enough of it for the amount of rooms at the hotel! Apart from that, it was an excellent stay. The beds are so comfortable! Lovely when you have been travelling all day.
"Fire Alarm"
24th June 2011, wigan
Fire alarm went off at 04.30 am , no explanation was provided as to what had happened. As a result we left the hotel at 06.00am. Not a very good experience, had to take breaks during our onward trip to catch up with missed sleep.
