"Would stay again"

I stayed here with my wife, for two nights. I was on a business trip to see a customer in nearby Fleurus. The room was of adequate size, in good condition with clean facilities. The general appearance of the hotel was good and staff were friendly and efficient. All parking is secure protected by electric security gates. The breakfast was a "traditional continental breakfast" with a good choice of food and drinks.The hotel has free-wifi which gave me no problems.Overall, good value for money - and I would stay there again.

Awful cigarette smell in our rooms - like a poker party just ended there. Hotel seemd dirty. Look _very_ carefully at your invoice - our had four *bonus* breakfasts for 5.6€ each (besides the ones that we actually ordered). They gave us our money back, but still - you have to notice it for yourself. Some staff were ok, some seemed like taken from the "Fawlty Towers" TV series.If you're looking for an economy class hotel in the walking distance of the airport consider other options - you CAN'T leave Charleroi airport by foot anyway (!!) so the extra 3-7 km distance of other hotels doesn't really matters here. Etap has a free bus from the airport, but so do other hotels.I *really* loved the - even more economy - Accor Formula 1 hotels in France as much as I hated Accor Etap in belgium.

"Overnight stay"

Good, basic hotel. Housekeeping was adequate, not great. Good location for flights to and from Charleroi. It's nice that they have a shuttle to and from the airport. Not much in the area, so be sure to bring a snack. Free wifi is prety non-existent.

"Not easy to get to"

12th June 2011, grand rapids

I arrived in Charleroi late at night and stayed at this hotel. It was out of the way and there is no way to get to the site other than by taxis. The taxis at the airport charged 20 euros to drive 2 km it took to get to the hotel. The airport shuttle that the hotel has does not operate on the weekends. The hotel smelled of cigarette smoke everywhere and there is no air conditioner and the ventilation is poor. It was a nice place to stay just for a quick stay out of convenience to its location. The breakfast is not worth the money.

"Convenient stop over for returning to ferry ports"

This Etap is one of their best we've come across together with Luxembourg sud.Some need updating .It's only around two hours driving time from Dunkirk ferry Port and much more up to date than the Dunkirk Grand Synthe Etap which we find a bit smelly !Something which confuses me is that some rooms are designated for smoking so you have to ask for a non-smoking room if you don't smoke, and you cannot request a non-smoker if you book on their web site.

"Reconnecting with Nimes and Dinant"

Great place to stay for a short trip to Nimes and/or Dinant. Clean, beds a little hard, very friendly personel. We don't like airports. Good parking. English spoken! We skipped the breakfast. Au revoir!

"Simple and basic"

Hotel is rather far from the airport - taxi from there to airport costed 8 euro for 2 persons, and it's impossible to walk to airport on foot.Free transfer to the airport is not available on weekends and hoilidays. Very sad that there is no restaurant in the hotel.Lack of food and things to do in the area.

"Very short stay"

If you look for a reasonably priced accommodation close to Charleroi Airport this is the place to be.We arrived just before 10 p.m. and it took us quite some while to get in because the gate installation would not work. Without a mobile phone we would have to stay in the car...Once in the hotel and in the room we recognized the Etap standard set-up, you get what you are willing to pay for. But to be fair - the room was clean, the bed was good and the sanitary equipment is sufficient. We did not expect luxury.Because we only stayed until 04:00 we skipped breakfast it was far too early.Under the same circumstances I would choose the hotel again. No doubt.

"Etap hotel Charleroi Airport"

If you need an hotel next to Charleroi airport this is quite good. I stayed twice there because I had really early morning flights, both rooms were clean even if really poor, but the hotel has free wi-fi, a free shuttle from/to the airport and for quality/cost is quite good. Sadly last time I stayed there the other guests were really noisy, I couldn't sleep good.
