Mercure Stoller Zurich: 4.0 out of 5 stars "excellent"

24th January 2013, ivone1000, Brussels, Belgium

THE ROOM WAS SUPER, VERY CLEAN, VERY SPACIOUS AND CALM. THE BREAKFAST TOO EXPENSIVE BUT NEXT DOOR THERE WERE NICE BARS WHERE YOU CAN HAVE A LOVELY SWISS BREAKFASTThe hotel had a parking spot which was an excellent choice if you happen to travel by car. The city center can very easily be reached with public transport which is next door.

Mercure Stoller Zurich: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good Hotel"

21st December 2012, Denis_Marino, Rolle, Switzerland

The hotel is well located, out/in side parking, public transport within 50m with exelent connection to city center, very good service and, clean and well equipted rooms. Our room was modern and nicely furnished with a balcony facing the back of the hotel which was nice and quiet. The bathroom was very modern and had a mini TV inside the bathroom. Free Wifi was also available. Excellent breakfast. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Mercure Stoller Zurich: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent hotel!"

20th December 2012, rodolphoeck, Sao Paulo, Brazil

The room is not too large, but big enough for me and my wife during our stay. It looked recently renovated and very well decorated and kept. Very close to public transport (bus and tram stops) and only 10 minutes away from most attractions. Two small markets (Coop and Migros) nearby. This was the best value for money during our trip through Switzerland.

Mercure Stoller Zurich: 5.0 out of 5 stars "I had a great time!"

14th November 2012, SteelAngl3, Tampa, Florida, USA

I stayed at the Mercure Stoller for one night between my trip to Ascona and my flight the next day. Its a convenient trip on the streetcar from Zurich HB to Albisreiderplatz. The service was excellent and the room was cozy, well apportioned and very nice. I took off one point only because the shower controls aren't clearly marked, so I ended up spraying myself, the wall and the floor with ice-cold water in the morning rather than turning on the overhead shower. The only real ding against the hotel is the area that it is in, which is more of a working/middle-class neighborhood than a tourist-friendly area.

Mercure Stoller Zurich: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Recently refurbished. Short tram ride from city centre."

12th November 2012, Lachiexyz, Melbourne, Australia

We only stayed two nights here while we were visiting Zurich. It's not the most centrally located hotel in Zurich, however it is only a short tram ride from Zurich HB and for the price, it was perfect for our needs. The hotel itself is very nice and check-in was simple (our room wasn't quite ready at the 2pm check-in time however, but we used this opportunity to use the wifi in the lounge). The rooms albeit a bit small are very comfortable and very well appointed. They appear to have been recently refurbished and they have nice bright decor. The room was clean and comfortable, however I always struggle with hotel pillows so my sleep quality wasn't amazing. I find they're always either too soft or to thick, but that's just me and can't really fault the hotel. The standout feature of the room was the coffee machine. It was similar to those swanky Nespresso machines and once you figure out how to work it, it makes a very decent cup of coffee. There was also free wifi here which was handy. We didn't use the onsite restaurant, but the prices seemed to be in-line with the average prices around the area. All in all, a typical Mercure offering that keeps to the level of service you'd expect at a Mercure hotel anywhere in the world. Would definitely stay again.

Mercure Stoller Zurich: 4.0 out of 5 stars "One day in Zurich"

9th November 2012, Bulat_Warsaw, Warsaw, Poland

Very nice and comfortable hotel, maybe it's too small for Mercur as the reception and all other infrastructure is quite small and allow to be limited visitors there. But you don't need to live at the reception. The location is ok, not the centre but just in front of the tram stop, 10-15 min and you are at the Central station. I can recommend it to stay there as price/quality is very good.

Mercure Stoller Zurich: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Decent Location"

17th October 2012, Singapore

The Mercure Hotel Stoller is a clean, affordable hotel off the central area of Zurcih. It can be easily reached with tram 3 from the Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). The hotel is fiarly recently remodelled. The rooms are very clean, quiet (at least mine was) and tastefully decorated. I found the bed very comfortable. The bathroom has a small tv. Highly recommended for travellers to Zurich.

Mercure Stoller Zurich: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Package not honoured"

3rd October 2012, 795Carlos21, London, United Kingdom

My reservations was a package which should include 'welcome gift' never delivered or mentioned at the reception. This is the only negative issue. Positive is the expresso machine in the room, excellent service and friendly atmosphere from both reception and restaurant.

Management responseDear Sir, thank you very much for your time to give us your comment. We very appologize, that you did not reach the promised gift as included in the package. Hoping to become another opportunity to welcome you, we promise already now our highest attention.

Mercure Stoller Zurich: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great room, a bit out of the city centre"

31st August 2012, alright_flower, Bradford, United Kingdom

The hotel website says you can get bus 33 or trams 2 and 3 to the hotel. It doesn't tell you that these don't go from the airport - the trams go from the train station, so you need to get there first. That would've been useful knowledge, and would've saved me half an hour walking around the airport and a subsequent £36 taxi ride...The hotel is on a main road, just down from Albisriederplatz. There's seating where you can eat and drink inside and outside. The room was a good size and included a Tassimo machine, and the bed was very comfortable. There was also a balcony where you can use your 60 free minutes of wifi!

View management response »

Management responseDear guest, thank you very much for your comment, we look into the data base, if that would allow the indication of public traffic network. The tram N° 10 from the airport to the city goes to the railway station, where one must change for tram N° 3. The trip would need about 1/2 hour.
