Receptionist were not so good. We stayed at connecting floor but nobody guided us. We had to move up then move down to ask.Next day, other receptionist made mistake in the billing. we paid already but they requested us to pay again.

Great location in the middle of Narita. Spacious rooms and lovely staff.
"Not so good bus service to/from airport."
30th January 2011, Narita
I usually stay for early departure or late arrival in NRT airport. It has convenient location because of near airport..But shuttle bus service to/from airport is not convenience,it is few frequency, especially in morning time. Then I should use train to/from airport.
"Very good by Japanese standards"

It was good to learn that some reviews of full criticism are disguiding. Mercure Narita is a nice hotel and an excellent value for money. Location is best in town, clean, friendly and quiet. It means that I saw so many airline crew members in the lobby every morning.Breakfast is much better then described in previous reports, it is a tipical full breakfast in every way. Airport shuttle provided by the hotel is punctual and free of charge. All in all I would absolutely stay there again.

The hotels airport shuttle is a great convenient service but it needs to go more often. We waited at the airport for over and hour at night as we just missed one when we arrived.Room it self was nice, though basic, but the bathroom looked like it was from the 70's. Small with no air exchange so the bathroom stayed wet and steamy for ages.
"Quality hotel offering best of both worlds - not far from airport and close to shops"
15th November 2010, Ammanford
I stay at this hotel twice a year on my way back from business and I can't fault it. Although not far from the airport - to which regular courtesy buses are provided - it's also in easy walking distance to the shops and shrine at Narita city which makes for a more interesting stay. The hotel has a choice of restaurants as well as reasonably priced room service and the rooms are comfortable. I definitely prefer it to the more expensive "airport hotels".
