ibis Praha Old Town hotel

"Great location, Ibis always great value"

I stayed in this hotel during a vacation trip with a friend. Prague hostels were fully booked, so based on previous experiences, we looked for an Ibis hotel, for we knew the quality standard of the company hotels and the price was worth it. The rooms are clean and of an acceptable size, staff is very friendly and the best of all was the location. The hotel is located a stone's throw from the Stare Mesto quarter (the Old Town), a few blocks away from the main train station and less than 100 m from the Namesti Republic metro station. There is a huge mall right next to it, with stores open until 9 pm on most of the days, and a good food court. The mall is also an option for breakfast, if you want to consider an alternative to the rather pricey breakfast offered at an extra cost by the hotel.I would definitely recommend this hotel for a quality stay in Prague!

"Ibis Praha Old Town"

The hotel is reasonably affordable. I made the booking months prior to my stay. The hotel is a short walking distance to a metro station. It is within the major attractions of Prague. However, the view from the window is not good as you only see the windows of other rooms. The restaurant during breakfast was crowded. There were not enough plates. Milk and bread (croissant) were not available on the buffet table when I had breakfast so I had to wait. The staff members are friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel.

"wonderful staff"

The staff was really helpful since day one when they book a taxi for me from the airport(thanks to Joseff, staff member). They also provided me with important information about tours, restaurants, exchange money. I liked it a alot.

"Don't dilute the orange juice"

A lovely hotel but the experience was spoilt by the extremely diluted orange juice from the dispenser in the buffet breakfast. Given the temperatures outside were -12degC the hotel was too warm for my liking - hard to get to sleep.

"I liked"

"Ibis Praha Old Town sept.2011"

Hotel is nicely located for the old town and is only 2 tram stops from the main railway station. Room was clean and comfortable with a very large and nice shower. There was some irritating noise from a service lift which was nearby but this was not a problem at night. This was my second visit and this hotel seems to have a lot of people travelling in large groups.

"An oasis of peace in the citycenter"

Although it is very close to the city center, this hotel has a very good location on a rather quiet street. So, you can be sure that, after a long walking day, you can rest. The staff is very helpful and flexible, capable to take a decision in a situation not registered in the job manual. (In my case, I had a problem with a wrong payment, a refund had to be done; something complicated enough to make most of the Managers of any hotel be tempted to give a NO). So, positive feedback for the service.

"Ibis Hotel -Old town Prague"

Good location, very handy for metro, trams and also walking to centre of Prague old town with all attractions nearby. Next to Palladium shopping Mall which is great if weather wet!One point to watch, don't use the service lift...our friend did in error andgot lost!!

Hotel is on very good location (center of Prague) and it's easy to find (GPS navigation). Like in all Prague it's very disturbing that guest must pay for Car Parking half of room price. Usually, braakfast is inclded in room price - not in this case. Free WI-FI connection. Anyway, personal are very kind, room are good, clean, near the center. Average rate is very good.Branko

"Hotel Ibis Praha"

Good location but a bit too pricey for what is offered. The rooms are rather small, and bathrooms do not have tubs. At almost 90euros a night (with out breakfast), I would expect more fascilities. The rooms did not even have a kettle for tea and coffee.

"Flawless"

Speedy check in and out. Efficient staff. Comfortable bathroom with large shower. Rooms a little small but v. functionnal, clean and well equipped. Free wi-fi and computers available in lobby. Perfect location: only a few yards away from Municipal house in old town. Lots of restaurants and bars around. bus stop for airport shuttle bus really close so great for those with heavy suitcase! Would highly recommend this hotel. Great value for money.

"Great Location"

The hotel was in a great location and lived up to the usual great Ibis standards. The city itself was drab and the people unfriendly. Thank goodness we could walk to the train station because the taxi drivers are so corrupt they tried to charge us 980 euro for a few blocks.

"excellent hotel"

very good price for high quality of service. I really enjoyed my stay in that hotel and I would definitelly recommend it to my friends. Also, the hotel is very vell situated. The breakfast is very nice and also the hotel bar, which is open all day and night long, which makes possible getting some snacks even at night.
