Overall a well located, good & clean hotel with helpful, knowledgable & polite staff (dealt with some last minute changes very quickly & efficiently). Room was small & clean, though slightly dated in its appearance (wasn't an issue as I hardly spent any time there, really only to sleep & get changed). The bathroom small, but very clean (shower was hot & powerful). Breakfast was good with a range of bread, fruit, cheese, yoghurts meat & pastries (I didn't have the hot breakfast food). Would I stay in the hotel again, yes as it was good value & a good location.

Bren Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

Parking very expensive (almost 60€ for 2 nights). None of the receptionists we encountered were even remotely friendly, especially the one who did our check in, I don’t think he likes his job. Because of this we will not be staying here again. The bartender was friendly though and his cocktails were good. Location is great and the room was good.

The room is well designed, with a very good standard ! Every square c"m used well and to the max of the 15 sq"m. Small minibar, but its ok for a few essential things. The big satellite/cable TV should have at least 1 channel with movies, and 1 with tv series, both in English. The Retro Music channel 23 is great. Also has English news from France 24, and a very interesting Japanese channel in English. NHK I think. The bathroom & shower are g r e a t, with a good pressure, good gel soap/shampoo in sink & shower, and very good toilet seat. Room was very well served & cleaned by housekeeping ! ! ! No problem getting extra hangers, a trash bin and fresh towels. The hotel just switched from heating to cooling in the air-conditioning system, and it worked excellent, also in days of 25,26,28 Celsius. At night I slept with the A/C on, in a very pleasant 21* (I always take with me an alarm clock/thermometer). The "International" breakfast buffet was v e r y g o o d, very fresh and well renewed ! ! ! There were all dishes and drinks that I expected & more, in addition to some local delicacies ! The e n t i r e staff was outstanding ! ! ! Housekeeping, the breakfast room, the bar, and at the reception ! ! ! A very special thank you to Ms. Petra, and to the front desk Manager, that solved a very big problem for me 👍👍👍 Will be happy to recommend to family, friends and others. First time at an IBIS Hotel, and I'm looking forward to future stays !

What I liked: - location of the hotel (close to downtown, public transportation, shopping malls, starbucks, etc.) - friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - breakfast (not up to the standards of the novotel in Vienna but still offered variety and quality) - convenient private parking with direct access to reception (25€ per night stay) - large and very comfortable shower - cleanliness What I didn't like: - rooms a bit too spartan for a 3 star hotel (nothing catastrophic, in the end you return there to sleep and you only do things to certain things on the day of arrival...) - sometimes a bit noisy at night (proximity to the center can prove to be a small disadvantage) Overall very positive experience. Recommended for value for money and great location. PS. For a family and looking at the economic aspect this hotel turns out to be an excellent choice. On the other hand, if you´re going as a couple with the idea of a more romantic trip and not looking much at the savings on the hotel then I would look at something else.
