Booked online through Ibis, got a great price (almost half the going rate when I arrived).Check in went smooth, room was typical Ibis quality, which is surprising for China. Check out had a small hitch, took a while to get them to lower the price to what I was quoted online. But in the end they did, staff was friendly, English was acceptable.Breakfast is well...its buffet, long hours, and reasonably priced, you get what you pay for. Food was at times cold, limited selection (and the same everyday). Don't even bother with the coffee.Central location in TEDA, close to a few malls, major hotels and landmarks. 20rmb taxi ride from the train station.

The internet access in this IBIS unit is terrible.I always stay there when I go to TEDA area because is convenient and near my supplier.They must improve the wireless system or change to regular cable internet access system.

When I check in at the Accor Advantage Plus counter with my Accor Advantage Plus and Platimun card and the front staff told me to hold on and he is busy checking in the next guest that come after me. On top of that he try to charge my room fee into my Accor Platimun card and ask me to pay a deposit to charge into my advantage plus card. I think they have not seen this two card in their life. I request for a room at the high floor and he without looking in the computer and say there is no room at the high floor. At the meantime there are quests checking out at the next counter from the high floor. I was given a room at the 2nd floor and I meet the horrible room that I ever stay. There are brown stain and marks all over the wall and bathroom door. Full of dust at all corner of the room. Shower holder are cracked, Towel are hand over the bathroom glass door. As far as I visited many Ibis around Asia, The towel should hand on the bar under the sink.The Floor are full of shoe marks. When I send my trouser for dry clean at the counter that night and I was told to collect it tomorrow at the same front desk counter and they will not deliver to your room. unlike the other ibis in china. I told them there is a yellow mark on my trouser was not clean and the front desk staff said that this must be a pen mark and unable to clean off and walk away. Where can we buy a yellow ink pen that we use daliy?? I have stay in the hotel one year ago and now it is in the very bad state. Do not take the taxi waiting in front of this hotel as they take you for a ride.

Dears,I have received my confirmation of my reservation and when I arrived in the hotel, at 22:00, my reservation was cancelled, and I lost the room. Had not room available and I left the hotel looking for another hotel at 22:30 in China, can you imagine ?They cancelled because they told me i should arrive until 18:00, but nobody never told me it before. That's a unrespectable prectice.Best RegardsDouglas
