Mercure Hotel Koehlerhof Bad Bramstedt: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Alternative to a Hamburg stay"

We choose the hotel and the location especially not to stay in Hamburg and I think we made the right choice. The hotel has 12 floors and was built in the mid 70-s, at least I presume, however not later than the 80-s. The quality of the rooms are good, however the PINK colored bathroom appliances are a little bit unusual for this standard. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is more than a normal traveler would need, the personal is exceptional. The only neutral statement is, why I had to pay 4 EUR for the internet usage. Nowadays this service should be included in all kind of room rate (even in the happy 20 or buy one get the 2nd room cheaper etc).The hotel has enough parking place and locating in a very quiet area. I would recommend for everybody the Mercure Hotel Koehlerhof Bad Bramstedt, however the the 4* is in the real world is only 3*+. You can get a good value for your money. Well done!

Nice hotel on quiet location next to senior home:)A bit dissapointed of the breakfast for 14 Eur/person. Was expecting much more of a breakfast for 28 EUR for 2 people.The staff was very friendly and helpfull.Will come again (next time a stay without breakfast).

Very friendly receptionist upon arrival - very good welcome.Reception area good.Room was on 11th floor of a somewhat dated building.Room size and overall fittings were somewhat dated but functional. In particular a twin bed with wooden division in middle!!As the main restaurant was taken over by a function we ate in the bar - food was good.Breakfast the following morning was very good.
