"Comfortable, good breakfast, internet access not good"

I arrived very late (after midnight) and was given a very large and comfortable room (probably an upgrade, I imagine). Breakfast was a buffet and it was fine, especially for a hotel of this class. What bothered me was the intenet access in the rooms works only if you have a laptop that you can attach to a cable and not with an Ipad. When I came downstairs for breakfast about 8 hours after checking in, the internet voucher, which is supposedly valid for 24 hours, had already expired. All in all, I would say that this is a very good hotel to stay in if you need to be near Hamburg airport at a reasonable price but the hotel needs to work on making its internet easier and quicker to use.

Courtesy bus was hard to find, then my reservation had not got through to the hotel, fortunately they were not full. Mini bar has been removed, maybe have left the fridge in place though ?

This is a great hotel. It is close to the airport. They pick you up at the airport. People are very friendly. The rooms are very clean!The only thing I miss is some sea food for breakfast (e.g.: smoked salmon). Hamburg is known for its sea food!Other than that, I like this hotel very much!

Bad service , my booking had a room gift when arriving and when I asking for that they only said they didn't know what a wanted. I show them the recervation without any respons.

As usual, I was pleased with the room, breakfast and service. This is what I have come to expect of Mercure Hotels. However, Mercure in Germany are falling behind oin one area. They offer a business package with Internet (WiFi) and breakfast included in the room rate. The breakfast is always excellent but the Internet is a mess. At the Hamburg Airport hotel, I had reserved the hotel through the Accor portal and ordered WiFi. In my room there was further information explaining the business package including WiFi. However there was no WiFi. The reception explained that the WiFi only applied to a very few rooms physically close to the reception. I had a cable in my room but as I wanted to use an iphone - well, it wasn't free any more and certainly not included in the room rate. The initial reaction from the reception was that this was my problem and they behaved as if no-one had noticed this breach of contract before (is this an official Mercure policy that iphone and ipad users should not order the business package?). The Service Manager later gave me a reduction on the room rate, after I had refused to pay the full rate.

Everything was good except:The wireless internet connection should be booked through room number. I didn't get a internet conection but was still billed from the supplier.No noise from outside of the building but at 4 o'clock at night someone apparantly took a shower. Quite high noise from the tubes - it woke me up.

This hotel is well located close to the airport, and they have a free shuttle to the airport every 30 min. You're very well welcomed in this hotel, everybody smile and it's nice to see. The restaurant is also at a good level. I ordered a sirloin steak cooked rare, and it was famous and well cooked. It's not so often in many many place. The bar is nice too.

Hotel is well located, and the breakfast was good, but the room was very outdated and the shower was a joke. If you want to stay there just 1 night to catch a plane the next morning is not so bad, otherwise, I would not recommend it.

What a relief to stay in such a quiet neighborhood with such nearby access to the airport on the free shuttle. Cleanliness, professionalism, great service, a nice bathtub (just what I needed before the long journey back to Costa Rica), and a quiet, restful sleep. Thank you so much!

The Mercure Hamburg Airport is a Hotel a where it really depends for which purpose you are in Hamburg. If you search for good value for money hotel near the airport for quick in and out of a business visit this is a excellent hotel. But if you want to discover Hamburg do shopping and go to restaurant this is the wrong place

The hotel is close to the airport. There is a free shuttle from and to the hotel which is very much appreciated. The staff is nice and friendly. Breakfast is quite rich.

very friendly reception staff, welcoming and helpful. Always a good experience to meet the barkeeper, he's very nice and funny. Rooms are nice, some would benefit from renovation, but that isn't a problem. The only disadvantage is the two seperate beds, we really like one big mattress...The Airport shuttle was on time in the morning and waiting on arrival was less than 10 minutes.
