"Impressive + superb service"

Arrived at Salzburg around 9.30AM because we took the train from Munich. We headed to the hotel straight away to leave our luggages. I tried my luck to check in and to my surprise, the staff allowed us (is it because I am a platinum a-club member? don't know as I tried before at other hotels). Staff are polite, courteous and helpful with my inquiries. Rooms are a bit old designed in my opinion and wifi signal is spotty. But the service is the hero of this hotel. Highly recommended !!!

"Passing through Salzburg"

Hotel is very modern and rooms are large and very well designed and equipped. Unfortunately the location is not ideal - not close enough to the city centre to walk and not near enough to the motorway for a quick one night stop-over. The restaurant menu was OK and the prices reasonable but the atmosphere is not great.

"Very nice hotel"

We stop to this hotel during the trip to our ski vacation. It's offers very good value for money: very clean, nice room, nice bathroom, garage (you heve to pay separately). It is the perfect choice for 1-2 nights stop in Salzburg.

"FUN IN SLAZBURG"

The Hotel and reception staff were spot-on, pleasant, courteous and helpful. The rooms spacious and the bedding/mattress top end. My only beef is with the Dinning Room staff. The servers wre very young, inattentive, some what confused and did not seem to have been well trained in their duties. Mind you they were very personable. All-in-all a nice stay, a little pricey, I would without hesitation stay there again.

"Nice Hotel"

This hotel is on a refurbishment process. Than:- There's noise during the work day.- There's new wonderful room too.Everything was so fine. Very good decoration and cleaning.The room keeping service must be betther trained, because everyday they try to enter on the room at 8:00, without wait after knock the door.The localization is good. You can rech the old town in 10 min walking.If You are lucky, You can park for free in front of the hotel, but there as only three parking spaces.The break fast is too expensive. It's better go to a coffe shop on the downtown, if You have time.

"Behind Linzergasse."

One of the best value Accor Hotel. Front staff were very nice, rooms are very clean, service is excellent, breakfast spread and staff are excellent. Its almost infront of the Bus stop to catch the city center Bus and for the Hauftbahnhof. If you dont mind a 10 minutes walk, take the back street of this Mercure that leads you to the Linzergasse, Right bank of the river, full of cheaper restaurants and shops, a better choice than the left bank where the shops and restaurants are pricier.

"Brief Stay"

Found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Has a good atmosphere. Location good for walking into the 'Old Town' Enjoyed my stay. Hotel is very clean. I was unable to use the restaurant, for evening meal due to a large number of tour group people staying, but otherwise the facilities were good.

newly refurbished with large and comfortable rooms, excellent service, added bonus is internet gratis!very helpful and professional stuff.it takes 15 min to walk to city centre.sauna wasnt working during our stay.

"Nice hotel"

The hotel is very nice and the staff is friendly. Staff was very helpful in finding nice restaurants/ things to do. The hotel is well located (10 minutes walk to the center or a few minutes by bus). The room decoration and furniture was older but the rooms were gradually being renovated.

"Missing compliance with A-Club system"

The reception / staff was not in line with the Accor Hotel Business A-Club service concept. Did expect a more servieminded reception and guest guideance. Room was acceptable. Service in restaurant was fine. A pity that maintenance was ongoing - made my stay a bit turbolent.

"Just Amazing"

Our first time in Salzburg and we stayed here...everything was just perfect. They are renovating the property but every care was taken to ensure that the residents were not inconvinienced and this goes a long way....good management and amazing team...hats off....

"few points"

room was nicely big, but quite shaby and needs a new touch. wellness and sauna was out of order to our BIG dissapointment. we were also unlucky that the service card was not present in the room, so we could not call the reception and had to walk with a request downt to the loby. otherwise the service was nice nad helpful as expected.

"very dissappointing"

We have just completed five weeks of staying throughout Europe in Ibis, Novatel and Mercure hotels. All the other hotels were fantastic in every way. This hotel was a complete disaster! The first day we arrived we were given a very mediocre room considering the tarriff being charged. We had just come from a Mercure in Ostrava which was the exact opposite in every way! There was only one person one staff member on the restaurant on the first night and we couldn't get a meal without waiting a considerable time. There was no computer with internet access for guest who do not want to carry laptops on holidy. All in all a very dissappointing stay. We decided to check out the next day and find somewhere else and were told that we were locked into the nights we had booked so would be charged. We are A club members and had been very loyal so were also dissappointed that they could not accomodate us. We would definately not recommend this particular hotel. All the rest were great.

We used this Hotel to stay overnight on our way to Croatia and it was perfect for that occasion. It was a pleasure to arrive at the service desk where we were welcomed by very friendly person. If ever we would want to stay a few days in Salzburg, we would probably take this Hotel also.
