"One night in Berlin"

A clean, well organised and convenient hotel. Prompt check in/out service. Good breakfast and bar service. Rooms a bit small for the money, but suitable for a short stay. Road works outside hotel make access by road tricky. Street noise can be a problem so ask for quiet room on inside. Overall, a completely acceptable hotel, just not outstanding.

We stayed at the Mercure for a long weekend to visit Berlin. The hotel is conveniently located close to everything. The hotel staff was very friendly, the breakfast buffet was delicious, service was outstanding. We brought our dog with us, and the hotel has a private closed in back yard/ garden where we could take him to , I also walked him to a big park (Invalidenpark) nearby every day. We only wish we knew about all the construction around the hotel and in the street,but that's something you can't control.If You drive your GPS will try to navigate you to turn into the street which is now one way,so You will need to go around the block before being able to turn to the Invalidenstrasse

This hotel is so close to the train station that the taxis refused to take us.Everything about the hotel was great, no problems at all.Location is very good, there are lots of things to do and places to go at walking distance.The only problem is that it was not very safe to walk around at night.

Stayed only one night passing by. The hotel is a stones throw from Kurfürstendamm, one of the main streets in Berlin. The hotel itself is a typical, relatively small city hotel. It is not particularly new, but the rooms are fine. There is what you would expect on a Mercure, no more, no less.Parking is a bit difficult and expensive (EUR 14.- per night) as the hotel does not have its own parking space.

We had a great time. Being backpackers, the hotel is perfectly located. Near the train station so that we could offload our bags straight away into our room and close enough to the city centre. Very pleasant
"Nice stay in Berlin"

Stayed at the mercure city centre Berlin and have to say it was a pleasent experience. Arrived at 23:00pm in the evening and was greeted by a very warm and friendly receptionist, that was nice after a long day of travel. The hotel lobby is clean with a bar area, internet stations and entrance to the restaurant. Our room was clean although smaller than some hotels BUT was more than adequate for our stay and the bathroom was clean and well equipped. My only comment was that we ordered a kingsize bed and we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 seperate single duvets but was ok with that. The sleep quality was average but by no means bad. The hotel location was good near restaurants etc and just a 5 - 10 min walk to the main Berlin Hauptbahnof with connections everywhere, also many shops and eateries within the train station. We ordered room service one evening and was pleased with the service and excellent food although the room service menu could do with more choice for a 4 star hotel. The hotel staff were always ready to help and answer any questions we had about Berlin itself. All in all I would reccomend this hotel and would stay there again should we be in this great city that is Berlin.

+The hotel has a very good location - only 10 minutes walk from the central train station, it's very convenient if you want to travel in Berlin or around. +Rooms are big enough and clean. +Sound isolation is very good - you do not hear noises from the corridor, next room or the street. +Breakfast is extremely good and worth its price.+Check-in and check-out is very fast.-In the next day after my arrival, one of the towels in my room disappeared and never came back.-One of the days, cleanup was minimal, only replenishing missing supplies and making the bed, but towels were not folded back, chairs not put back etc.-On the day of my departure, I wanted to have breakfast in my room, so put the note on the door hang ca 10 pm a day before. And in the morning I got no breakfast and the note was still hanging... Not a big deal, I went downstairs and had it anyway, but the impression is very unpleasant.To summarize: it's a good 4* hotel with a very good location, but unfortunately service can be better sometimes.

The choice of this hotel was good option. The location near to the train station or Hauptbahnhof or the city centre is excellent. I was just surprised, that the internet connection was paid service. I would expect that this chain of hotel will have this service for free. But otherwise I recommend this hotel
"Troubles with payment"

I wisited the hotel twice within one month. In both cases there were problems with payment - they always charged more than I really spent. Once they charged twice the breakfest (when I asked for improovement it was improoved). My second bill was than higher under an item internet acces. I asked for 5 hours, I was charged for 24 hours use. I resigned to ask again for improovement....

It is a great lokation near/on Kurfürstendam. It is a great room with 1 classes beds.The only shortage is 2 chairs and 1 table on the balkon.

Service was good but shampoo and soap was not prepared for our arrival.The room was cosy and comfortable, we liked cofee machine and room service.Receptionists were pleasant and polite. We appreciate their help when we needed it.Breakfast was brilliant (we have a lot of travelling all over the world)! Especially we were satisfied with breakfast hostess.We liked our staying in the hotel and we would come back there with great pleasure!

The hotel is near tha bus stop for Tegel airpot. The hotel is ok, we got a very good deal in accor hotel page so quality/price was excellent (41 euro per night). The rooms are decent size, they have a kettle to make tea no coffee. There is free wifi but we did not use it. The bathrooms are clean and not that all. The receptionist were very nice and efficient and they reccomend us nice restaurants. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel cause we thought it was expensive and there are lots of coffee shops and restaurants around. I would reccomend if you pay less than 60 euro and because the area it's so so good.

The service is good, the staff is very helpful, The rooms are big and clean. There breakfast is very good and you can choose from various type of foods. Its location, near U6 line, allows you to reach the hotel easily. From Tegel, it takes around 30 min to reach the hotel (with a buss and a U-bann line). It's very near to the U-bann statioon and it is very easy to go to the center of city. I enjoyed staying there.

The hotel is just OK. It is a tourist class hotel and we had booked two Privilege rooms.The rooms were in fourth floor and the elevator was out of order during the whole stay.The rooms are big and standard equipped.A OK hotel with a good location.

The hotel was nice with very good location, a few steps away from metro station, but not noisy. Staffs were lovely and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. A little bit expensive without any discount.
