Novotel Monte Carlo: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Perfect days in Monte Carlo"

1st May 2012, kipe_nielsen, Copenhagen, Denmark

Novotel Monte Carlo: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Very Good Value"

30th April 2012, lugnerol, Cessenon-sur-Orb, France

Good location and excellent service from every department, especially the front desk and bar and restaurant staff--special mention for Marco and for Candice. Only negatives were absence of drawer and shelf space and uncomfortable pillows.

Novotel Monte Carlo: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Review of Novotel in Monte Carlo."

31st January 2012, Sydney, Australia

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was well maintained and well run. The staff members were very professional. Location was excellent as it is only a short distance from the train station. it is also vey close to the town centre.

Novotel Monte Carlo: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Supply & Demand"

30th September 2011, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA

Like most hotels, Novotel increased their rates due to the Monaco Yacht Show. So, not great "value" for this stay. Rooms are small, no view from the one that I had, but at least new and clean. Location is good, if you like walking - very close to train station, casino etc.

Novotel Monte Carlo: 3.0 out of 5 stars "cheapest in monaco...."

1st September 2011, Tampa

Great for business person, the hotel has a modern sleek look but we missed the coziness and quality of the more expensive hotels (our last stay in Monaco was at the fairmount). Overall the location made up most of novotel's value, it is five minutes from the train station and pleasant walking distance to food markets, the casino and beach.

Novotel Monte Carlo: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Highly Recommend"

1st September 2011, Finsbury6, Auckland

Excellent Location, could not have asked for better location, so close to everything, particularly, Casino and Railway station. Service and cleanliness were great, staff very friendly and helpful, room comfortable as was the bed, bathroom, light bright and modern. Only one problem the air conditioning was not very efficient so hard to sleep at night. But would definately stay there again.

Novotel Monte Carlo: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Excelent Hotel"

29th August 2011, Monterrey Mexico

Eventhough it is not on the very fancy zone, Novotel has excellent facilities. Beware of the transport system, it can be sometimes confusing. Pool was a little bit small and restaurant looks really nice, it is 5 to 10 mins walking to Casino.Monaco is expensive so if you want to get a good deal book novotel or pay more than 200 E for others.

Novotel Monte Carlo: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Generally good"

2nd August 2011, Athens-Greece

I think that the hotel is more for tourists and less for business people. The internet access is difficult and expensive, the checkout time is not satisfactory. as there are a lot of tourists asking questions. Service-wise I had a good experience.

Novotel Monte Carlo: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Adequate"

28th July 2011, Gold Coast, Australia

This hotel has its good and bad points. Good is the location and the how clean it is. The manger who helped me at the end of the stay was helpful to when i disputed a charge, which the female receptionist was not going to reimburse. But the down side was lack of places to sit around the swimming pool. The pool bar staff are rude and arrogant when you are not French and can’t speak French. The breakfast unless you go there early , they can’t keep up with the amount of people so it was good on one occasion a Thursday morning but the Saturday there was not enough food at some points and so many people , one felt like they were peasants begging for scraps. I had prepaid and only managed to get some cheese and a croissant as there was no bacon, pancakes, egg, fruit or cold meats and as quick as they placed the food people were in line to take it. So it was a struggle to get food. The food we had around the pool was always cold. The room was cleaned well but they failed to give us the same amount of towels we had used so that was frustrating as during hot summer months towels do actually need to be cleaned after each use. The check-in took a long time compared to what I am used to and when asked simple questions often just got a blank expression so just decided not to worry it most of the time. I did get a special deal so not too worried but if I had paid full price I think I would be annoyed and disappointed because it’s the simple things during high season one should try get right with or without frills. Good customer service and food quality is defiantly one of them. All things easy to fix and I am sure are not easily missed when the hotel is not as full, thus would still stay here again and recommend it but I think the hotel needs to take note of the simple things especially customer service in general from ordinary staff members.

Novotel Monte Carlo: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Novotel Monte Carlo"

24th July 2011, Brussels

Good quality of service in a children-friendly environment. Our room was both clean and quiet. The people at the reception proved to be very helpful (e.g. took care of parking the car for us, kindly provided a map and clear explanations to find our way within the city). A lot of choice for a tasty breakfast. We have enjoyed the swimming pool and hammam.

Novotel Monte Carlo: 5.0 out of 5 stars "fresh juice"

23rd June 2011, geelong

excellent hotel. Close to train station was very handy for us eurail travellers. Up the hill from the central part of town but for a 1 night stay this is not a problem. We got a great rate booking early via internet.Breakfast buffet good. Best thing was freshly squeezed orange juice, loved the squeezing machine!

Novotel Monte Carlo: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Little Gem"

7th May 2011, Edinburgh

The Novotel Monaco is a fantastic base for a few days in on the Cote D'Azur. Have now used it three times and have recommended to many over the last 3 years . Its modern, clean, chic and brilliantly located being 3 minutes from the railway station and a 5 minute stroll to the Casino/Cafe De Paris. Prices are very competitive if you book in well in advance. Great way of staying in Monaco without having to remortgage your house! Pool, gardens and even the small gym are excellent. Great place for all age groups, including kidsOnly critisisms - the bar prices are scary ...although, thats fairly typical in hotels- pillows were hard and square on my last stay there......!If it remains competitive I will always go back there when visiting Monaco

Novotel Monte Carlo: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Good value for money"

15th November 2010, Stockholm

Nice hotel with nice price, perfect location with everything in walking distance. The breakfast buffé is very rich and gives you a good start of the day. Free internet access in the lobby, restaurant and bar is useful especially when you travel in business. Very good and helpfull service in the reception. The wellness center with the hammam is nice and clean. We will stay in Novotel Monte Carlo at our next visit to Monaco and can recommend it to other travellers.
