Mercure Hotel Hanseatic Bremen: 2.0 out of 5 stars "nice staff but not to Accor standard"

19th May 2012, London, United Kingdom

Arrival 21.30 at hotel with no airport shuttle as advertised took the tram which was easy. Bar closed, "restaurant" closed.Room not quiet right on road side. Rooms indeed all hotel needs money spending to bring up to standard, rooms and public areas looking very tired and worn.Sink in bathroom cracked, shower holder not working, curtains not drawing properly.Restaurant menu not much more than snacks of pizza and pasta, pleasant enough but not what was expected by a Mercure "Restaurant"Breakfast very good.Staff were nice and helpful but the hotel certainly a big let down to the Mercure name

Mercure Hotel Hanseatic Bremen: 3.0 out of 5 stars "rewue after short stay, one short night."

11th May 2012, bendikmj, Oslo, Norway

Easy parking. No dark curtains to keep light out in the morning. No shoe shine cream together with machine.

Mercure Hotel Hanseatic Bremen: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Useless staff and shocking service"

12th March 2012, New Milton, United Kingdom

Arrived on a cold, wet evening after a long working day. Had to wait an age to check in as receptionist was on the phone and on his own. After unpacking came down for something to eat only to then be told the restaurant and bar were closed as they had no staff on. The two staff there made no attempt to help other than to say there was a vending machine available and they clearly couldn't have cared less. Also the place looked run down and tatty.I've stayed in a lot of Accor hotels and they are usually very good, this was far from good. Won't be staying at this one again.

Mercure Hotel Hanseatic Bremen: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Staying in Bremen, Germany"

1st February 2012, Hameln, Germany

Relatively clean rooms, worth the price. Breakfeast is not the strongest feature of this hotel.Execellent parking (free of charge).Quite area, far away from the city center. Nearby tram station. There a few restaraunts in the vecinity of the hotel.Overall impresion: it worth the money.

Mercure Hotel Hanseatic Bremen: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Very nice hotel!"

28th July 2011, Copenhagen

We stayed at Mercure Hotel in Bremen just for one night. The rooms were very nice, clean and big. Beds were extremely comfortable! We needed 2 rooms, as we were 5 persons and we got 2 really good rooms, a bit seperate from the other rooms in the hotel.Nice people in reception. The only minus was that there were no croissants left in the morning, even though we were at the restaurant an hour before closing. The same goes for the apple juice, my daughter was a bit disappointed with this.Good location, it´s easy to get to the center of this very beautiful town! All in all, good hotel!

Mercure Hotel Hanseatic Bremen: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Nice cost"

29th June 2011, Braunschweig

The hotel is situated between the airport (3 stations with the tram) and city centre (4 stations with the tram), but there's not much in the imediate surroundings. Great trade-off between price and service. I only think the breakfast is too expensive, I'd recommend to eat outside the hotel or to buy stuff in the supermarkt and leave in the room (there's fridge and 2 small stoves). Helpful and friendly staff. I'd definitely stay again!

Mercure Hotel Hanseatic Bremen: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Freimarkt"

15th November 2010, Oslo, Norway

We stayed 3 night at the hotel during visiting the Bremen Freimarkt. The hotel is sentral to the airport and to the tram witch take us easerly to the center for Bremen. A lot of people at breakfast and we have to wait to be seated.
