"Excellent value for money"

Large room/suite that can be easily divided into separate living and sleeping areas; comfortable beds and furniture; free WiFi; good breakfast but no restaurant; friendly, helpful service; not luxurious but very comfortable; excellent for families with kids; pet friendly; location is somewhat out of the way, in a new suburb, with nothing much around it, so own car is strongly recommended; nevertheless, there's easy and fast access by car to all areas in Munich: 2-3 km to Schwabing (lots of restaurants etc.), 4km (10-15 mins) to the city centre, 15-20 mins to Nymphenburg Palace, short drive to English Garden. Overall mid-range, but excellent value for money.

Room was large for four person. And you have all needed facilities (free internet, small kitchen). Parking might be problematic, if you are not ready to pay garage fee. Breakfast is excellent. Cleaning and smell needs some improvement

Nice room with comfortable beds and breakfast. Location is ok, if you are going to watch football match in Allianz Arena. Cleaning persons were not up to date :(, no new disposabel cups and only two glass for tooth brushing.

The hotel is OK but is to far to centre. The transport is Ok but need to change a tram and a u bahn to the most important objective to town. Exist the possibility to direct U bahn but is far to hotel. A problem is the cleaning sevices problems with the soap .Generally is OK because is not expensive.

Good value for money.Close to subway station.Rooms are nice and clean.Quite location.Parking for only 9€/day.Breakfast was good with a big variety of food, tea and coffee (you can even have a nice cappuccino).

Very good hotel, suitable voor business ans for stoppver. Although it is better to have a car given the distance from city centre, on the other side connection by public transport is reasonably good.The room was tidy and very quietly located in the building.Fitness is present and equipped with a number of machines.Breakfast meets the novotel standards.

We were here during Oktoberfest. Our window faced the courtyard, which was very noisy at night, from the hours of 2300-0400! We asked to be moved away from the courtyard and the hotel was very happy to do so. I think it may be an ok place to stay if during a different time of year. Had to have the window open for air tho and it was just too noisy with people outside using the courtyard.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone good facilities easy access to city centre. We did not have beakfast but free coffee/tea and cake at reception area. Exceptionally large bedrooms with kettle, fridge and microwave.

We are family with two children of 4 and 9 years old and looked for family room. The Novotel suit hotel was the best choice due to their mini kitchen and number of beds available in the room. Due to promotion we found on the Accor web site the price was very convenient. The staff in the hotel is very friendly and wishing to help. The only problem is with transportation to the city center, which requires a change in the middle way from tram to the underground, but even though it was taking about 20-25 minutes to get there. I would recommend every family visiting Munich to stay in this mid class hotel.

We stayed one night, on a road trip through Europe. (We spent the previous day in Salzburg, and started the next day at the nearby BMW Museum.) We arrived somewhat late, with small children, so we did not feel like complaining about the urine-smelling toilet, just shut its door and went to bed. The double bed was uncomfortable, the entire room a bit outdated. Overall it was OK for a one-night stay, would have requested a different room for a longer visit.

Clean and welcome at the end of a long drive - nice friendly staff who were knowledgeable, flexible and helpful. They let me have a second room half price for my children.Nice rooms and for a value hotel like this lovely bathrooms. .

This is a well run, well appointed hotel a few miles out from the centre but with great public transport links. I'd stay here again, with or without my family. The front desk staff are some of the best I've seen anywhere in any class of hotel. Rooms are large, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is good value and of good quality. The location is perfect for a visit to BMW Welt and the Olympic stadium and only a few minutes walk from a tram stop. The surrounding neighbourhood is modern and safe. Things to note: the underground car park is scary to drive into! The entranceway is narrow and the descent into the garage steep. Park on the street and walk back to the hotel if you can. Also the air con can be a little variable between rooms and is more efficient in some rooms than others. But those small things apart I would highly recommend this hotel for any purpose, business or leisure.

Stopped here for 2 nights to see Take That at the Olympic Stadium. Very easy to access from the Autobahn with secure underground parking. Upon arrival we we told that the breakfast that we had prebooked had been reduced in price so we were given a refund, which bought us a few drinks at night.Just a 10 minute walk through a pleasant business centre and residential area to the Alte Heide U Bahn station which was just 3 stops to the city centre.The room was quiet and spacious.Excellent overall.

Hotel located in a quiet area near public transports. Very easy to take the tram and u-bahn to the city centre. The rooms is great! There is possibility to have a sliding wall between the bedroom and the livingroom, witch makes it perfect if someone wants to sleep and not get disturbed by the others in the room.The kitchenette is also perfect if you travel with kids, and you can storage some cold snacs and beverage in the fridge. Thereby its not necessary to by your breakfest at the hotel and you can make som small meals att the evening by your self. There is also a supermarket only 500m from the hotel.The underground garage is also perfect and cheap! Probably one of the best hotels we stayd in ever.

We were on a 10 day trip through Europe and had stayed each night at a different hotel in a different city. This was the best hotel in he whole trip. I would recommend to ANYONE for ANY reason at ANYTIME. Go there, you won't regret it.
"Needs improvement on customer service"

Room was clean and presentable, but the toilet stinks a bit. Anita, the manager was very helpful and accomodating, specially when I asked her for directions to the nearest public transport going to the city. I could not say the same for the others though as they have a preference to answer yes or no for every question you ask. Maybe, that's Novotel's way of demonstrating hospitality in that reqion of the world.

An excellent starting point for visiting the city. Tram and U bahn access very close. Staff very friendly and helpful on all 5 days and all facilities up to good standard. Closeness of restaurant in Ibis very useful if arriving late.Definitely up to Accor standards.
