Old, dirty IBIS

I arrived in the late evening after having called the hotel and informed. There were people smoking by the entrance. The late shift staff did not speak even rudimentary English and since I don't speak not even rudimentary German, it was really hard to communicate. The rooms smelled bad, the carpets were dirty, the overall appearance of the hotel is old and dirty. I think this is the worst even I have stayed at.

The room was small, no toiletries, not a good view, no proper cupboard. Staffs were friendly. Main station was very nearby like hardly 5mins walk.

We apologize if the absence of a more extensive cupboard space was inconvenient. We only stayed for one night, and the biggest plus was the customer service. Both during the stay and after as I forgot my camera when we left and front desk staff was very helpful in figuring out how to get it back to me (I picked it up at the end of my trip). The location is convenient as well with most main things to see as a tourist in walking distance. The only downside was the size of the bathroom and possible mold in the shower (black areas in the grout). Overall, would recommend! Thank you!

Strategically located on the way from the Alps to Northwest Europe if you travel by car, the Ibis Bregenz offers you comfortable stay, a safe garage and a beautiful buffet breakfast.

Room clean, nice staff, good breakfast, reasonable price. The only issue was that the night reception did not have the full access rights to the computer system to use loyalty points for the hotel price.
