"Good hotel, but a prohibitive brakfast."

Grand hotel with good installations, but the breakfast has a prohibitive price. It has a clean room, nice furnitures and great internet access.Nevertheless the breakfast is prohibitive for a family use. A family prices could be practiced.

The location of Mercure Rio Vermelho is outstanding. In a very quiet area, close to many nice places to eat and enjoy Salvador. Very good service and helpful staff. Great sea view. The gym is very good and the pool as well.

Very nice hotel, following the Mercure standard, very clean rooms and extremely kind staff. Location is fine, with several restaurants around, but no convenience stores or coffee shops. Check in is fast and friendly, same as check out. Room is very clean, furniture is in good conditions and rooms with sea view are amazing!

I travel all around the World and like to find hotels with good location resenable prices and good internet connection. The Mercuri in Rio Vermelho have all that so I usually come back three times a year and to the same hotel always.RegardsBjorn

Great hotel.Very clean and modern design.There are a few restaurants nearby. Taxi to the bus terminal around 20 Reais.Bus to pelourinho 25 min. We got there from the airport by bus that leaves you 200meters from the hotel.make sure to ask the driver to stop at the stop.I asked at the airport taxi desc about the taxi fare to the hotel and they told me 96 reais which is ridiculously expensive.if you speak portuguese you can get a better deal outside the terminal or do like we did ,we took the executivo bus for 3 Reais p.p. and in about 40 min we were at the hotel. Nice staff the infinity pool was quite cool.
