"Clean and simple"

Very nice, clean and simple hotel room, especially after staying in few Pousadas was a nice refreshing stay.However, the hotel is fairly far from the touristic places, but would still recommend it.No more to say, but as I have to write at least 200 characters in a review, here it is.

I was very happy with this hotel. It's a no-frills value hotel (as all Ibis are), but it appears to be pretty new and the room was in great shape. Efficient layout, comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, good storage space and work space. The bathroom was also a pleasant surprise, with decent towels and a hair dryer and a GREAT shower (seriously, this shower was better than many I've seen in much better hotels). The only slight downside was that the window didn't close all the way (stayed open just a bit), although that didn't affect the A/C. The location of this hotel is very good, on a street in Rio Vermelho with several nice restaurants and a great music/book store. The Rio Vermelho area is one of the best in Salvador, with many of the city's best restaurants and bars. It is also safe (important in this city), and for tourists it is only a relatively short taxi or bus ride into the historic center of the city. The hotel is located very close to a nice beach (Praia Buracao) about a 5 minute walk away. Especially for the cost (less than US$100 per night, his hotel is a great value.

The hotel is located near to a beach in a very pleasant neighbourhood in a quiet street. The rooms are confortable and the hotel staf is very helpful. the hotel is located quite far from the city's historical center but it's close to restaurants and bars.

Slow service at reception check-in and very poor service in restaurant. three different persons attending - or not attending in the restaurant. Food below standard in other Ibis hotels and far below local standard to the price.

Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, good clean rooms. The restaurant is adequate. Location is the only downside for this hotel. The neighbourhood is uninviting and it is some distance from Salvador's many attractions.
"Good Stay"

The only problem I had in this hotel was in the Restaurant. I had a late check out and wanted to have dinner with my wife. The attendent was in a bad mood and didn't answer the question very well, which made us choose a terrible hamburger. I suggest to trainne better this person. All other staff were very polite and helped us a lot.

As good as it gets when it comes to an Ibis hotel. The location is awesome, with sea view and a short walking distance to bars, restaurants and Salvador's nicest beach, Buracão. The rooms are clean, comfortable and fairly spacious, but there's no room service. Last but not least, you'll miss a swimming pool in sizzling Bahia.

The hotel is basic, cheap and very nice! There are some places for dinner near de hotel. The attendants are very helpful and friendly.
