Couldn't ask for more. Fantastic chef and service at the restaurant.Although was travelling alone, I thought it was a fantastic idea to put the kid's space right in front of the reception.

"excellent far from city center"

Excellent hotel, service, and everything very good. Out of the city centre, bus stop at walking distance (15 min), not a pleasant walk. Very good if you travel by car (easily accessible from the highway, parking ok)

"Good hotel - some distance from city centre"

The hotel was very good and the swimming pool was very good. But it is some distance from the city centre. The guidance is to catch the No. 35 bus, but this stops running at 20:00 hours, a better option is Bus No.20 which runs until after midnight. The stop is a bit farther away but is in a nicer part of the area.

The hotel was excellent; clean, modern and with very good service. We used the hotel as a base to travel to nearby sights and cities, therefore, the location next to the Autostrada was ideal. The dinner menu is not typically Italian but the food was still very nice.

We stayed in Bologna on our way to Rimini. We liked the hotel very much and all the services. The breakfast was superb. Our teenagers also liked the pool and recreationroom. There were no problems in walking in to Bologna - it tok about 20 minutes.

We have stayed one night at the Novotel Bologna, as a family with teens, and our stay has been very pleasant. Even though we had a bit of a lie in and got up late for breakfast, we were welcome to have breakfast by the friendly staff.We enjoyed the reasonably large pool before heading off. Nothing to complain about; we would definitely recommend this hotel. What's more, we booked two rooms and got a 50% discount on the second room for the teens, which made the stay pleasant and comfy for everyone.

I returned to this hotel after a previous visit because it was so good. I was certainly not disappointed on this second visit. Everything about this hotel is very good. The rooms are clean and very well appointed. The service from the staff cannot be faulted.

"Overnight stay while travelling through Bologna"

The convenient location of this hotel was excellent for our journey. However there were no other places to eat withing walking distance and the 'in-house' restaurant was way over-priced for fairly average food. We were too hot in the room (it was a hot spell for the time of year) but were told by reception that the air-conditioning was not turned on until 'summer' ie the beginning of May. We were told to open a window, which then let in a great deal of traffic noise as we were so close to the motorway.

"Fantastic value and an excellent night's sleep"

Everything about this hotel was outstanding. The service at reception and in the restaurant were excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant - this was of a high standard and not too pricey. We were surprised at how cheap the rates were for this hotel - we stayed in a superior room and it was still cheaper than many other hotels. Highly recommended.
